Anyone going to the McDonald's All American game to check out possible lottery picks for the Bucks in 2-3 years? :lol:

Tom Brennan: Milwaukee reminds me of Paris. You know, they got a river right in the middle there. And the courthouse looks like the Louvre. :lol:

it was unwatchable at times and boring but I really like the Penny Hardaway Jr. kid aka Brandon Jennings pg committed to Arizona he is going to be a very, very good PG.

Tyreke Evans is going to be a star. Averaged 34.1 PPG in high school and tore it up tonight.

DeRozan looked real raw. I thought he was going to take over tonight, and he didn't. You couldn't even notice he was out there at times.

Jennings is going to be a stud. Quick feet, lanky, and an excellent leaper.

I really liked the looks of the Jamaican big man Samardo Samuels who's head to Louisville. Evans was getting to the cup at will, he and Jennings displayed their alpha dog status. The guard headed to Rutgers was very feisty and impressive, and the kid going to Oklahoma has some amazing skills as a 6-4 guard.

Just got home. I worked the the Topps booth with two other MU students. We were tasked with giving away packs of cards featuring the participants of both the boys and girls games.

It's unreal how popular these cards were. We were constantly 30-40 people deep (the same 30-40 people a lot of the time) with people trying to get more cards. We were supposed to adhere to a 1 pack per person limit. That went really well. I think most people who kept at it long enough walked away with 20+ packs of cards. We know of 3 kids who made $50 each, selling full sets to a middle-aged man. That was just mind blowing, I mean we're giving the damn things away for free!

It was a zoo most of the night, but it was a blast. We ended up turning our booth into a trading center so that we could find everyone the cards they were looking for. While the gambling like obsession of some was worrisome, the kid offering to keep our table clean in exchange for packs was hilarious. Special props go to the two kids who traded hoodies in an attempt to trick us into giving them more packs.

To anyone that was there, I walked home with the over-sized Michael Beasley card that was on display. That's right boys and girls, it's getting framed and going on my wall.

I will post pictures later. My only regret was not seeing more of the game, due to crowds surrounding our booth. Overall though, a very good time.

Obviously, we all saw Zo.

I saw Dominic James sitting a few sections over from me. Wesley Matthews was right by me as well.

This group of guys behind us said they saw B.J. Armstrong walking by the food stand, then they later said that one of their g/f's/wife or some girl they knew was sitting right by Armstrong.

Then this was the tricky one. I was out getting some food, and as I was walking back, I saw this tall (6'5"-6'7") white guy wearing a blue Adidas jumpsuit. I saw about 10 people around him shaking his hand. What I DID catch, was that he was foreign. I heard him say "thank you" but in a very different accent. I should've asked one of the guys that was shaking his hand who he was, but obviously didn't.

as for Dominic James and Mathews I saw them walking out I jokingly said to my friend right behind them "aren't those the guys that play for MU" the turned around and said whats up lol.

We handed out cards from 5pm until probably 10:30-10:45pm, and finally shut it down to disperse the crowd. We handed some packs to a few stragglers until the Topps guys came to pack it all up. Oh, and I was the boy with the shaggy, dark hair.

I was there it was good for what it was. Jennings needs to work on his shooting well in fact all the players really need to work on shooting and free throw shooting. I think only one player made both free throws when at the free throw line. I think this class will be okay at best only thing to do is wait and see. If you look at some of the players of the past not all of them had great games. Look at players like Lattener he scored wht two points? It will be fun to see how this class devlops.

so we all know its going to be a while until we see a young freshman phenom at least we things are like they were like back in the early to id 90s.
