No question that Willie Green is not looking good lately ...
However, I was on that 82games.com site today (at the suggest of another poster) and I found something very interesting....
Igoudala shoots 3-pointers 22% of the time and his percentage is .321
Green shoots 3-pointers 19 % of the time and his percentage is .324
Igoudala shoots mid-range jumpers 49% of the time at .395
Green shoots mid-range jumpers 50% of the time at .393
Igoudala shoots in close 27% of the time at .661
Green shoots in close 30% of the time at .654
One could argue that they have basically the same shooting profile.
Yet, Willie Green is considered a bum by many and Igoudala a budding superstar.
interesting ...

If you cannot convince others that you are right, you probably aren't.

If Green got to the line as much as Iguodala was he'd be really good.
Plus Iguodala is considered a budding superstar because he does so much besides scoring.
And just so no one gets on me, Green is having a good year for someone like him.

Well, that is absolutely correct. Just something that I thought should be at least mentioned ... in light of the fact that Willie having a bad game. He really isn't this bad on a regular basis.

I mentioned him because he has terrible shooting technique.
I don't know what percentage he shoots ... it may be good ...
My point was that he learned to shoot that way and I am sure the coaches see the flaw in his shooting technique but either he can't change it or chooses not to.
OR ... they wisely leave him alone because he is pretty effective with it.
