Maybe move Rios back to the leadoff spot with Rolen batting third and Overbay at fourth.
It is hard to cash runners in and score runs when you don't play Hill, Stairs and Vernon is on the shelf.
Mench, Wilkerson, Inglett and to a lesser extent Scutaro do not belong in the everyday lineup. To have all of them in there today is basically to curse the game and throw it away.
Bring Lind up and play Stairs in the field and Barajas as the DH when Zaun comes back. I am sick of these B-team losers playing everyday. Ship them out!

Need to stop losing ground to Boston.
We won't catch Boston, but the Rays are legitimately concerning. They performed extremely well despite having just two days off in May -- Toronto had just one -- and though the first 11 days of June are tough, they have some opportunities to remain well above .500...assuming that the Marlins come back to earth.
The Jays have their softest month of the season upcoming: three more days off, and nine games in a row against the three worst teams in the NL Central. They need to follow up May with an equally good June, and realistically -- with a brutal August in the not-so-distant future -- that's the only way they'll be in the hunt with 20 games remaining. 16-10 in June (exiting 47-37) is probably the target, but when was the last time that the Jays went 36-20 or anything close to that mid-season?

**** your asterisk.

Even if Tampa has a really bad month, they'd probably still be ahead or even with the Blue Jays' record. Can't believe how well they have been playing this year. I'm still expecting them to fade as the season goes on. I also think that Boston is still within grasp. They've been spinning their wheels all season so far, and really haven't showed what they're capable of. On the other hand I also believe that their team was a tad bit overrated before the season started so they are doing just about how they should be.
