Chris Duhon? At this point I don't think we need him.
We need to pursue some size and Diop will stay a Net. I'd also like for us to pursue Kareem Rush who has become a 3 point threat. He's not going to provide us with much more, but we need a guy that's not scared to shoot the deep ball, and someone who can actually hit it coming off our bench.

I like Hayes over Rush, Hayes has a litte more size on Rush so he has the ability to play both SF and SG, he shoots the three just as well as Rush and is a better free throw shooter.
Diop would be a great pickup, it's be nice to add another shot blocker and finally have a 7 footer on the team.
Then try to S&T Childress for a pick and re-sign Smith, Richardson, and West. I'd draft a SF/PF with the pick from the Chill trade.
PG-Bibby/Law/Claxton
SG-Johnson/Richardson/West
SF-Williams/Hayes
PF-Smith/Zaza/draft
C-Horford/Diop/Jones

Could you tell me what tomorrow's lottery numbers are?
It always cracks me up when people act like they know what will happen. Diop is UNrestricted and playing only 13 minutes a game in Jersey. He played more than that in Dallas.
Do I need to provide you with the definition of opinion?

Damn, do we have to start each sentence with IMO?
I wouldn't expect much to happen in free agency after (if) retaining our own restricted free agents. I wouldn't expect us to have great shot at Diop because of the number of teams that could offer him the MLE. It's more likely that we have to take a chance on a lesser/younger/riskier C like O'Bryant or Morris and hope they are ready to step up to a larger role.
This is why I strongly push for trying to acquire a mid-round first to draft a big (provided they are available draft night). I don't really expect this to happen because the team drafting would have to both really believe in Marvin and not like the big that is available at time of the pick.

No but it isn't that hard to say..
Diop might, could, may, will probably resign with NJ. Saying he WILL resign there is not expressing an opinion.

But most teams over the cap have other needs. How many of them need someone like Diop more than they need something else? How many of them will be able to offer Diop more than 20 minutes a game? Not many i would think.

I think David Andersen could be a solid guy to bring over soon. Most people say that he is a lost cause and all of this, however if the owners are committed to winning, why not pay him the cash? We gave zaza a 4 year, 4 mill per deal. Andersen turned down the Hawks 2 years ago cause we are offering him 500,000 a year. We need a big man, we have one that all we have to do is offer him a contract and he will come over. Yes the price would be very high compared to most 2nd rounders, but it would be a may to fill a need without giving up all or a majority of our mle.

There are too many Hayes going around... if he's from the Pistons then I agree.
