Ron Artest vs Prime Mike Tyson

Post#1 » by Farsi Man » Thu Mar 27, 2008 6:48 am

Who wins in a fight? Mike Tyson in his fighting prime or the 6' 8'' 260 pound crazy monster Artest. Remember Artest has said he's boxed before so he knows some fighting skills.

Tyson very very easily. You're talking about one of the craziest and best pro boxers of all time against one of the craziest basketball players. think about that.

The 280 lb overweight Mike Tyson right now wins this fight against the over-aggressive wannabe thug. I will take the guy who raped old women after robbing them of groceries in a fight over the guy who gangs didn't touch because he was good at basketball.

To put it kindly, Tyson would put Artest in a wheelchair.

ok, one is a killing machine and the other is a basketball player that had a little bit of boxing. Hard choice here, but i gotta go with Artest in a coffin

This sounds like a fun and interesting topic. We should do more of these. My turn.

Who would win in a basketball game: Micheal Clarke Duncan or Gary Payton?

Micheal Clarke Duncan is large man and he's played some basketball before

That would be a funny fight to see. Im pretty sure Rons head might end up in the cheap seats. Hopefully he doesn't start a riot entering the stands this time.

Tyson would ruin him... I mean, c'mon, this wouldn't even be close. Artest isn't much bigger than some of the guys against whom Tyson fought and Tyson crushed those guys with first-round knockouts sometimes.

Artest is nothing. Tyson would kill his arms and make him unable to protect his face and then he'd put a power punch on him and Artest would drop like a sack of bricks.

Tyson would win easily. People really underrate professional fighters and boxers. My friends actually think that the Big Show can beat Floyd Mayweather in a fight.

Oh man Have you ever even seen Tyson fight. One lethal upper cut and Artests breathing through a tube.

so do I..easily..

I realize Mayweather is the best POUND FOR POUND fighter in the world, but you're telling me you believe a 5'8 150 pound man can beat a 7 foot 400+ pound man in a fight? no chance..Mayweather would have to use most of his energy just to take Big Show down, and then he could finally land some power punches..if he can't knock him down, he would have to be punching upwards, which would take away a lot of the impact from his punches..

we're also ignoring the fact that Big Show's hand is almost the size of Mayweather's head..Big Show could probably lift him up over his head and keep him there, even with Floyd trying to get down..

wrestling is scripted, not fake..just because they don't actually fight in the ring, it doesn't mean most of these huge guys can't fight or have a major size advantages..I don't see how Mayweather would be able to beat a guy with a 250 pound and over a foot advantage..the guy also needs to say in shape for a living since he's a wrestler..he isn't some naturally big guy that doesn't work out..

did you see Brock Lesnar's UFC match? he lost..but he would have easily won in a fight..he dominated the MMA fighter and mounted him with a flurry of punches..the only reason he lost was due to inexperience, because he got up and the guy got him with a submission move from behind..if that was a fight, he wouldn't have stood back up, he would have finished the job..

Mayweather wouldn't stand a chance..

PRIME Mike Tyson? against Ron Artest? c'mon... can Ron Artest even beat Mike Tyson RIGHT now? Mike Tyson was trained day in and day out to box, he will rip Ron Artest to pieces. How about comparing Ron Artest to other NBA players? Someone that isn't a professional boxer.

Tyson is one of the best boxers ever, he would completely destroy Artest.
