Team names?

I'm guessing the cities that would be considered for a team would be:
Rome
London
Madrid
Paris
Dublin
Lisbon
Barcelona

If it's in London, I like the London Knights.

Any other names?

I can't see Dublin being considered, despite having unreal economic growth the whole country is as populous as Oklahoma.

Well basketball isn't popular in the UK or Ireland. Germany it kinda has a following but not as big as Eastern Europe, Italy, France, and Spain.

Eastern Europe has alot of war and stuff going on so they're not a good market. That leaves the following cities:

Madrid
Barcelona
Paris
Rome
Milan

But also China is a huge market and should also be considered.

Shanghai
Beijing
Hong Kong

Milan, Moscow, Athens, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Munich and Tel Aviv would certainly get consideration before Dublin and Lisbon.

You can't mentioned Euro basketball without Greece.

Just merge with FIBA and become the WBA (world basketball association) 50 teams, 25 per conference, then we will finally have all the best players in the world in one league. Of course it would not be that simple but it would be really exciting...imo

Hell no. Leave the NBA on the other side of Atlantic Ocean. Seriously, I think this would just ruin European basketball, the whole playing system etc. Just let us enjoy the benefits of both, don't mix them.

PS: Although Paris Hiltons would be

i think a major stumbling block to Euro expansion will be the NBA Players Association ... Players complain already about the tough road schedules, now travelling to Europe would be really tough ...
