I don't really know how responsible Avery was in bringing in these guys, but to the extent that he was responsible, he should get a ton of blame. I personally think he had a lot to do with it and therefore lump Avery in with the front office.
I guess I just see a lot of people blaming Avery's sideline coaching for our troubles, but it seems to me that it's the front office causing most of it (and that FO includes Avery, IMO).
This team needs a major re-tooling.
I agree. I think we have to change the talent in our top 5, find a more diverse mix of talent at the lower spots, and then find a coach who can bring it all together. Easier said than done...
