The replacement is hard to predict. Unless you work for a NBA team or have close ties with front office people, I don't know how it's even possible to know what guys the Bucks will consider. An ESPN columnist? No way.
Hopefully Kohl's made some friends working for other teams over his tenure to give him some suggestions "So and so from team x is really this and that". I think it's going to be a guy noone's ever heard of, but they'll have NBA front office credibility.... ya ya ya what do i know?

Perhaps.
But almost all of the front office people with any kind of good reputation at all will pass, assuming the better career move is to just wait for another job to open up in the future.
That's very possible. But like I said it's also a risk and possibly a huge one. Most GM jobs that open up have poor situations. The Knicks also have a meddling owner; the Hawks could have an opening and they have major ownership issues. Maybe the Bulls open up and that would be OK but then the Bulls could have their pick of who they want to hire which means somebody is left out in the cold.
Sure, plenty of candidates could pass on the Bucks. But there's a risk involved there and I'm not so sure all of the qualified candidates will take that risk and possibly never get a GM's job.
Nothing will not break me.

I can 100% guarantee you that there is a lower tier candidate who would jump at this opportunity and do a great job. Probably 10 or 12 guys somewhere in the league.
Now.....in the 23-years that Kohl-Walter-etc. have been running this thing, have they ever been able to locate anyone of extreme competence? Either on the court or off it? I mean a coach, GM or player so smart that that person could overcome the organizational incompetence weighing things down? The guy who is so good that his plan "C"'s would somehow have LeBron coming here in 2010?
No. They haven't found anybody like that. On or off the court. So I'm not thinking that lightning will strike this time either. If Kohl's proven anything, it is that he's not able to find diamonds in the rough......

It doesnt matter who we hire because who ever it is it won't please any of the Bucks fans...it wont make bucks fans happy if we hire a guy with no experience in a guy named Bill Simmons.
I am done with the Bucks and almost done with the fans I know its been a terrible season maybe the worse since the 1st season this franchise was born. But I am just sick and tired of the bashing of Bogut and Yi when those 2 are the least who deserve it....it must be fun picking on the little guys. Whatever happened to those trade Redd threads from years ago.....
we need a real GM to clean this whole mess up...I just hate fans who always jump on the bandwagon when things go great at least I can have the joy of saying that I stuck by this team through it all....when Bogut and Yi are allstars I dont want to hear any praise from any of you.
