He is more versitile than young but not more athletic. Julian Wright is the better defender and the better passer, but Young is the better rebounder Scorer, and ill say shooting is a wah both players shooting rediculous percentages for rookies, but since young is younger and smater i would take him.

Yeah, Both guys are extremely athletic, if you watch them in game, they are smooth, run the court well, strong for wing guys, and finish with ease.

I'll give the nod to Thaddeus since he tested better.

Shooting I would have given Thad easily before the season, but Julian has pulled it much closer, and his deep shooting has shocked me.

So true, but the argument doesnt work here.

Especially if Thad's going to continue at PF... now move the kid to SF, consistently. Get him used to playing there full time, and the tune may change.

And btw... you'd only take those rookies for Thad? Yi? Wow.

Not wow that youd only take those rookies, but that Yi was one of them... its not good to completely assassinate your credibility right after pimping the new golden boy in Philly...

i think both players are going to be stars in this league, but since i have to pick one, im picking thaddeus young.

i think he has all the tools to become something very special in this league. a lot of players are super athletic, have a high basketball iq or just work their butt off. but, i think thaddeus young is one of those rare players that possess all 3 of those qualities.

again, i dont think you can go wrong with picking julian wright, but thaddeus young is my pick.

Thaddeus has shown me more, so I'd go with him.
