Too pointguard (leader) working at the same team is not a good idea. They've different perspectives about the ways to win games. Not to say, Jason Kidd's presence challenges the legitimacy of the coach. He's an ideal candidate for the head coach in future.

It could be for the fact that Kidd is absolutely horrific at defense, yet still rejected Avery.

Avery was a journeyman PG, I'm sure everyone in the NBA rejected him at some point or another.

Yeah...and now the entire team is rejecting him as the coach.

I'm really not sure that's the case. I think we have a group of players (and probably a coach) who fold under pressure. When there's no pressure or they're the underdogs, they seem to play their best...which makes sense given that our coach and our two best players (Dirk and Josh) have pretty much been underdogs their whole NBA careers. But when they're favored, they play down to the level of their opponents.

If anything, the coach and the players are too much alike mentally. That's why I've sort of thought we might do some damage if we can limp into the playoffs as the underdogs.

Anyway, I just think we're seeing a team folding under the pressure (again). I'm not sure it's due to Avery losing the team, though that may be case.
