I am curious to see how he is doing in his rookie year. I dont hear alot of talk about him, but his number look pretty good for a rookie. The pick of him just seemed like a strange one bc him and Durant essentially play the same position. So, how has it worked out?

horribly. Durant and Green are constantly fighting. On the court against the Blazers Green slapped Durant when he took an illadvised three, instead of passing the ball Reggie Evans.

There was also a big dust up in January, where Durant Claims that Green sent his best friend on the team (McDaniel) after him in a practice game. Green denies this and counters with Durant having his buddy, Slick Watts, trip Green on more than one occasion.

It's really a work in progress. Right now, I think both players are figuring out what they can do individually. Durant's approach to the game has changed quite a bit since when he started the season. Once they establish their own roles I think you'll see them start to work together fairly well as Durant's a SG trapped in a SF body and Green's a PF trapped in a SF body...totally different skill sets.

PJ has said he likes Green at SF and will start him at that spot again next season, so Durant remains at SG another season as well.

Does that mean we'd take Brook Lopez over OJ Mayo? Uh oh.

Please explain your "greater than" sign. Green will be greater than Durant in what respect?

I think Jeff Green will be a better player then Kevin Durant in 3 years.
It's my personal opinion and I refuse to elaborate on the issue.

I can see why. You hit two sentences. I think that's your limit.

I think he has good upside. Think Shane Battier like defense, now is developing the 3 point shot, has a bit of a post up game. Once his mid-range jumper improves he is going to be a beast.

He is everything that Durant isn't...plays decent d...takes 3 within the flow of the game, and finishes and finishes hard with muscle.

well in fairness to kd, he has cut way down on his threes and is giving a solid effort on d. and greens bigest problem right now is his post game. the mid rage and long rang jumpers are there and he can finish strong when he gets up a head of steam. but the post game he had in collage hasnt been there at the pro level. he cant seem to get his balance and he ends up throwing up awkward looking shots inside that he has trouble finishing. i do believe he will get that part of his game on track, and when he does, he will be a very tough cover.

Well, I think that Green will certainly be a better player than Durant in some respects. But, I sincerely doubt that Green will be better in all respects. For example, Durant will most certainly be the better scorer.

So, I am afraid that I must insist that you clarify your opinion. This is because your opinion, as it stands, is vague. Note that I am not asking you to "elaborate on the issue" per se, I am just asking you to clarify the opinion you put forth. I think my request is pretty reasonable. Do you still refuse?

Relient K is also the same guy who misses rashard lewis so his opinions aren't worth responding too. Green needs to get bigger with better post moves and get more comfortable in the league. I like the SHane Battier comparison.

With Wheezy out we are seeing what Green can do. He logged 23pts against Utah and 21pts against Sacto. Over time he will do this more consistently. His development and potential will ensure that the Sonics do not draft Beasley if they have the chance. Forward is the teams deepest position. The team will go with either a PG or Center early and load up on 3pt shooters later in the draft.

Its "Weezy" not Wheezy lol. That makes him sound like a bad cold. Aside from that Green shows flashes of what he could be like Petro, but it will be awhile before he is consistant. At least hes a rookie, with Petro im getting worried...

I am not trying to be critical of Reliant K and am sorry if I came off that way. I genuinely want clarification.

As for Wilcox's nickname, it sounds like a bad cold however you spell it.
