I have no issues with people lobyying for someone over someone else. I doubt it would do much good though. I think most people here know who they like and who they don't and won't be persuaded very easily.
As for my take on the results so far in this rd, I must say I'm shocked that so many people have chosen one particualr guy over another. I just do not get most fans facination with this particular player (way overrated IMO). I will leave him nameless until the results are in.

My guess is that you're talking about Ike Diogu. He seems to be getting a lot of votes and you have him as a 15 seed which tells me you don't think much of him.
I think I voted for Diogu but it was more on the fact that I don't like the people he's matched up against than actually liking him. I guess it's sort of a lesser of two evils situation.

Diogu is not the player I was referring to. It's a bigger name than that.
As for Diogu, I wasn't real surprised that people picked him over Randloph. For the most part, no one (including me) wants Randolph here due to his lack of D and attitude. I still voted for Randolph in rd 1 becuase at least he has shown he's an NBA level player. Diogu has yet to prove that on a consistent basis. In this rd, I'm more surprises people would take him over someone like Collison who is a hard working player who is a very solid player. I don't see either guy being out future PF, but I think Collison would add a lot more to a playoff level team.

Hmmm... a bigger name. The only other one that I could come up with was Emeka who I do believe is very overrated. That said, I think I would rather have him here than Jamison unless we acquired a raw, young PF that needed a season or two to develop.
I believe the Emeka train will come to a stop in the next round when he faces Elton Brand. Emeka is a nice defensive player but Brand brings both defense and an all-star level offensive game to the table.

In addition to what I said above... if Anthony Randolph is on the board when we pick at #17 or so, I would be all for drafting him and then making a push to sign Jamison to a 3 year deal for whatever it takes. Jamison would come in now and help this team win more games next year than this season.
Randolph could be groomed for those 3 years and then take over so that we don't miss a beat as Jamison retires. In 3 years time, our roster will still be extremely young and yet it should be competing in the playoffs.
PG: Lou Williams (24 years old)
SG: Iguodala (27 years old)
SF: Young (22 years old)
PF: Randolph (22 years old)
C: Dalembert (29 years old)
The more I think about it... the more I like the Jamison/Randolph plan.

So you think it's Okafor?...no comment
I do like the 3 year idea with Jamison and adding a rookie PF to groom. I'm not sure I really like Randolph for that though. I have serious doubts about him being able to play PF in the NBA due to his frame (reminds me of Durant and I never thought Durant could play PF in the NBA). I do think this draft is potentially very deep with PF prospects. Obviously not all these guy will declare and stay in, but you have the following guys who I see as PF's in the NBA...
Beasley
Griffin
Love
Speights
Arthur
Jason Thompson
Patrick Patterson
Hickson
Ibake - not sure about how he will traslate
DJ White
Add to that list other quality bigs (IMO they all project as C's in the NBA)
Brook Lopez
J. McGee
D. Jordan
Koufus
Thabeet
Hibbert - not a fan
Anyone of those guys has the potential to come in and be a productive NBA player. I mainly like the top 6 guys in the PF list. I like Patterson, Hickson and White quite a bit too, but they may be too short to be quality PF's at the next level. If we got one of those top 6 PF's I listed, I would be very happy.

If you draft Randolph, we will still need to address the PF position. Jamison is a perfect stop-gap player in that scenario because he is performing at a very high level but that level is likely to drop off over the next 2 to 3 years.
Randolph isn't going to be ready to contribute to a playoff team for 2-3 years so adding just Randolph and no one else isn't really taking a step forward. I suppose you want someone like Wilcox instead.
Jamison>>>>>Wilcox
