I wondered perhaps you were involved with Tony's training somehow .. like a practice squad type of guy.

There's a about ~ 6" height difference between you and KeBo. Is he considerably quicker than you if you're defending him one on one?
That's something we discuss around here is Hedo would play the 2, granted Hedo and you are probably different builds.

he's quicker yes...but he's a different type of quick...because not for nothing but i'm a pretty explosive guy and i have a fair amount of speed...
Keith is a whole different player when he's playing away from the team and when he and the other guys play around. Keith is a very aggressive player, very selfish and very crafty. every time i have ever seen him play in person he has taken it to the hole 90% of the time, and he is a strong finisher, strong. obviously he has never been given the ability to do these things for the Magic, and now he's basically a spot up shooter and part time defender, nothing more...
i am surprised as this, because as a third party with a quality understanding of the game, Bogans appears to be our best finisher and if not the best tied with Keyon and maybe even Evans. obviously my opinion is not without fault and there might be something i dont know...but still, he has a strong IQ and seems to know where he's at when he brings it in...he has a strong jab step and a very good push off for the leaner...
if we were to see a time where Keith was given full lead to run things for a bit, i am most certain he would average 22+ with about 5-6+ assists and 5-6+ boards...
it bothers me sometime when i see Keith pickup a ton of criticism, because he is such a contributor, even if he misses a layup or boots a finger roll...it happens...and often times he just needs to work into it before he can get going with anything outside of the 3...and i think he feels the pressure a lot, he knows that he has to contribute or he wont see the floor...which may or may not explain missed FT's and such...because i'm telling you, this guy fills the net 95% of the time when he's in the gym...he's a pure shooter...
plus he's a good guy...

Are you freaking serious? Keith seems like a not so good athlete and bad finisher in NBA games. He looks soo limited physically.

dead, life on the line serious...take some time to go watch the cat play some 3/3 ball when SVG isn't around...he is a baller...how many times do you see him dunk in a game? never, when he's just playing to play, he dunks the ball all the time...
Keith criticism shouldn't be for not making layups, it should be for not putting it all on the court when hes out there...
the guy could be in our starting lineup, but still refuses to bring his energy level up...
my only real Keith knock...

this almost makes me not want Bogans off our team...
actually NM
nah but I have no idea why that doesn't translate.. obviously you are playing against NBA level talent but he should still finish strong.. no reason to airball layups like 5 times..
Thats interesting that he doesnt put it all on the court.. hard to judge unless you seen him in practice and stuff

but the issue is, i think Stan has kept Keith from doing certain things, he wants Keith to be on the elbow and drawing back to the 3 point line for the open shot, prior to this season keith was a much more mobile player...
outside of Houston, Keith has been stifled so much from going inside, that he has just stopped focusing on that aspect i believe...he's just a shooter...
for Brian Hill he was a defender and was used only against certain matchups...
not on the same level, but similar to the Ron Harper days before and in Chicago, before Chicago Ron was a monster offense guy, he was counted on for scoring, once he got to Chicago, since he was a league leader in steals, they wanted him to be the setup guy for defense, so that's basically all he worked on...
it happens to guys...
Keith isn't the most athletic player on the team, but he has the tools...and he is a very aggressive player with the ball...he's strong and he has good control usually...
like i said, from my observation, the guy has loads of talent, and could make a very solid contribution to paint scoring if given the chance...it's just not his game now...
