Brewers, BUCKS, Wave, Bonecrushers...Whose Next?

Post#1 » by NotYoAvgNBAFan » Wed Mar 26, 2008 8:39 pm

Guess what...Brewers, Bucks, Wave or the new Bonecrushers...

Of all the local professionial (allegedly... ) Milwaukee sports teams, where will or where does your hard earn entertainment dollar NOW start to lean?

For many years until up to the trade deadline for the Bucks this year, I have always been more of a Pro basketball fan with my money and my devotion and attention.

The way the Bucks' are going and the NBA industry in general that may forever change for good. ESPN has this slogan "Who's Next?"...

Well for me, it is the MILWAUKEE BREWERS who have jumped up and taken the top spot.

But you know what, I've been watching the Dennis Krause show and listening on radio some, and I just might go take a look now at both the Milwaukee Wave and the Milwaukee BoneCrushers!?

The Milwaukee Admirals...ah, nope. Hockey I might take longer to get into but the Wave and Brewers in these parts are now committted and they actually, PLAY TO WIN!

The Wave have some exciting players it seems, and they do score in that league which to me is key. And indoor soccer might be the way to go for me.

But how about you all? During basketball season next year I will have the college game with my boys at Marquette, UWM and up in Madison we can not forget...

But barring a major major overhaul I AM KICKING THE BUCKJS TO THE CURB! Now the Brewers will stay in my interests more and in my wallet!

I am tired of supporting losing teams with no vision for success. If you cannot win in the NBA East and try to get in the playoffs and embarass what our blue collar town stands for.

Pack your bags Bucks' and get out is what I say! Oklahoma City, we got a team for you!!!! But tell me, whose 'Next' FOR YOU?

:banghead:

Go Brewers Wave Bonecrushers Go!

So, should we just suspend your RealGM membership given that you don't want the team around anymore?

Wave games are awesome. I don't know how much tickets are, but the last time I worked the Wave game I had a great time.

I haven't done a Bone Crushers game yet, as their opening day was during the March Blizzard. They are having another game this Saturday and I am excited to see it.

There are definitely other sports entertainment options out there for Milwaukee during the Winter when the Bucks do their annual tank job.

that's what most would call being a "fair-weathered" fan. you know that as soon as the bucks are playing well again (who knows how long that's going to take) you're going to be backing them

Brewers and Admirals. Wave are okay, too. Rest of the teams I don't care about. Well I care about the Bucks but won't spend money on them until things change.

I actually turned on WSSP a few days ago and heard Gary Ellerson broadcasting a Bonecrushers game. Wow, you think he's a bad radio host then don't listen to him do a Bonecrushers broadcast.

Wave tickets are regularly priced at:

Individual Ticket Prices
$22---VIP Seating (yellow sections)
$18---Preferred Seating (blue green sections)
$16---Premier Seating (red sections)

However, if you go to a Stefan's soccer supply, either the one in Brookfield or the one at 11th and Lincoln, they have buy 1 get 1 free ticket coupons there.

Yes but not the Arena League or even the Arena League II. They are in the Continental Indoor Football League.

The CIFL gets better players than the AFLII but worse than AFL I. I would encourage people to see them, just because they play in the Cell (great arena) and you get to keep the footballs that land in the stands.

Yes we are. Why are you even chatting on a minor league's basketball team message board?
