Aaron Williams Poll

Post#1 » by pdub15 » Fri Mar 28, 2008 8:42 pm

I know we just got Newble on a 10 day contract but really with Bynum and Gasol both trying to get healthy we really need another big for the rest of the regular season. Aaron Williams was just waived by the Clippers and Newble's 10 day contract is almost up and Aaron could be that extra big during the season so we can have all our bigs ready to go for the playoffs.

I'd like to see Newble play a bit more first. I'm still sort of surprised he hasn't been in to inject some hustle into the lineup lately. We've been pretty flat at times.

IMO Mbenga should be getting more time. Our team has just been lackadaisical lately. I think the starters might need to be put in their place. It seems like the only guy who has lost minutes has been Farmar, when it seems like the starters are either haggard from the extended minutes or just a bit full of themselves lately.

Either way, last game Mbenga came in and caused two steals and an offensive foul in a few minutes, then we sit him out...we were playing a physical team, we probably should look to play Ronny and DJ together for a few minutes, rough some teams up.

I think a few of these losses could have been prevented by a little more reigning in by PJ...I don't want to see this team get away from him because he's too busy trying to build their egos.

ehhh, i dont know. We kind of need help there right now. But pau should be back soon. Honestly I think we need a big man over another SF right now. And Newble could of been used in that loss against the bobcats. But phil still chose not to play him. So who knows.

Aaron Williams is much better then Menga. He is very explosive and even though he is old since he hasn't played much it's like he kept his athletism. From N.Y. and watched him his whole Net career and he is very underrated.

We have all these SF and Gaurds but we lack depth down low. Mihm coming back is huge. Come playoffs Gasol, Bynum, Turiaf, DJ, Odom, & Mihm will be fine but until we get healthy for the playoffs we lack depth down low. Look at our recent games. No inside out game so our shooters are struggling. Though Kobe is the best player in the game we can't let him get burned out before the playoffs trying to maintain in the top of the West
