Didnt watch the game but why did Nenad only get 4 minutes?
And since that's the case who the hell was playing C in Frank's assinine rotation?
Diop got 9 minutes and Sean got 2.......

Anyway the only reason I sorta wanna make the playoffs is that I really want Vince to stay, this group should be very solid next year with a rebuilded bench.

Well the Pacers played ultra small and none of the two played good D or closed out on Murphy . Diop had several bad decions today no point in playing him more , he can't defend these shooters at all .

Nenad was really bad today missed several point blank layups with air and looked like he's ran totally out of gas.

Boone basically was the only big today that played good .

When the opponent plays so small we just can't do anything but go small ourselfes , when Nenad is as bad as today.

Edit: Damn Bulls lost nobody stayed with Horford on an inbounds play with 10 Seconds to go wow ...

At least you don't have to close out on the 3-point line at them cause nobody did that on Murphy today ...

Jefferson and Carter played 42 mins apiece tonight. the Suns are going to stomp a mudhole in us

Boone and Harris with another solid game. Krstic only 4 mins???

Boki played like crap

our two scoring players off the bench are unreliable. Boki with another 1 'fer.
Next year the Nets need a "Microwave" type player that can come in & be a consistent scorer.

Diop had one of his worst games as a Nets.

I guess Krstic sat because he couldn't handle the outside game of Murphy (Krstic's own poison) but Boone/Diop were no better. I would have liked to see SWat cover Murphy since he has some length & athleticism to bother the shot and Murphy isn't the greatest threat to put the ball on the floor and quickly get to the rim.

It seems the Pacers were packing in the paint more esp against Devin and any kind of high pick & roll and daring the Nets to score on jumpshots or contested layups.

This one hurt, the Nets have to steal one from Phoenix or Detroit and win vs 76ers & Raptors in the next few games. Don't like our chances though.

Team still struggles to score w/ VC on the bench although this team is way more fun to watch with Devin leading the charge then the really anemic offense we had earlier in the season. At least the future if not the present looks hopeful.

Yuck!!! :banghead:

I missed the first quarter so I didn't see Nenad and yelled to the TV about him not being in the game. But after reading a few comments here, I'm OK with it, knowing he was pulled because of his play. If he's tired or not feeling it, sit him, considering Pacers perimeter running style, and we have a game today.

But we once again threw away a winning game in the late 3rd and 4th quarter. We where winning and abusing the Pacers defense. It wasn't like the Pacers even stepped up the defense much. We played too fast and too stupid and threw away the game. Blame the Frank!!! Marcus and Harris where dominating offense until the mid 3rd, getting us a medium size lead. And then for the rest of the game, Harris gets no plays and Marcus has maybe one or two plays.

Our defense actually did get a bit better as the game went on, but the offense totally collapsed at a crucial time at the end of the 3rd and beginning of 4th.

We lost this game at full strength and no excuses. We don't deserve to be in the playoffs. Any boasting that this team is better than before the trade is thrown out the window. We are scoring better, having more fun, easier to watch, but the improvement thus far is superficial. We are at the same level as the Pacers, no better than our record. It doesn't matter how good we look on paper, or individually, or talk ourselves up, as a TEAM we are a 31-42 team, no better. As much as I hate Mark Jackson's catchphrases, this one applies: "The record don't LIE!"

No one played defense, thus the Nets lost. It's really as simple as that...

Nets shot 37.5 FG% in the 2nd half. And it wasn't because of Pacer's killer defense.
