Bulls vs. Hawks Game 72

Post#1 » by fo_o_fo_404 » Fri Mar 28, 2008 9:03 pm

I am going to try my luck and start this thread.

I am not the guru gsuteke is.....but anything that can keep this momentum going....I'm for it!!

A MUST WIN TONIGHT FOR OUR HAWKS.

We will be in the same situation we are in with NJ...if we lose tonight and tie at the end. CHI will have the season series 3-1.

Let's keep this momentum Hawks!!

I got the Hawks by four points tonight!

This may be the most important game of the season so far. A win is badly needed, and the guys are playing ok so far. 13-point lead, 4:55 lefy in the 2nd.

Man, this team looks really bad when Acie replaces Bibby. GO HAWKS!

Acie needs to learn that just because a guy is open doesn't mean you should pass to him. ex. Smith on the perimeter. Acie didn't take one shot. He needs to look to score.

Bibby needs to hurt his thumb more often lol.

Marvin is getting busy on the boards, 10/8 at the half.

The Hawks are getting real physical. Marvin's push on Nocioni and Joe basically pushing Hinrich out the way like 3 times in one play shows me they are taking this game seriously. The 1st half was basically a perfect half except for when Bibby was out the game. WTF was Law doing...he has to play in attack mode at all times. I hate when he just brings the ball up the court and passes it immediately.

we open a 22 point lead and then start to make dumb plays. No lead is safe with this team...

Those last two fouls on Smith and Childress were a joke.

Indiana beat New Jersey
Phoenix beat Philly

If we make our part, we'll be in good shape.

Unbelievable... 4-point lead. This team sucks so bad in the 2nd half. Game after game after game. I'm growing tired of this crap. Jesus.

Awesome play and awareness by Chilz at the end. That reminds me of his game winning layup vs Minnesota in his 2nd year.

I would be mad about blowing a 20 point 2nd half lead but this is the Hawks. I'm convinced ANY team can get back in the game vs the Hawks if they play hard(which the Bucks and Knicks don't do).

Great win but we almost blew it. Marvin was HUGE on the boards and Big Al was clutch with those late free throws.

That just shows why the Hawks are a bad team. They have a 22 point lead late in the 3rd in a critical game and nearly lose.

Smith is an idiot. He deserved to sit on the bench at the end. He just has no BBall IQ at all.

Childress with a nice choke job. He has never been clutch at the line. I would take Horford over Childress at the line every time in the clutch.

JJ was off for the first time in awhile. problem was that he had only one guy he could pass to with confidence.

Bibby just carried the offense tonight.

Many Bulls fans seem happy with the loss. Many were afraid we would actually win this game toward the end.

There seems little if any desire on part of Bulls fans to make the playoffs.

Good luck rest of the way. I am hoping Atlanta can beat out NJ & Indy. Nothing against those teams - but you have been out in the cold longer and deserve to make the playoffs.

Marvin should have been in for Chillz during the entire 4th quarter IMO. Smith makes too many stupid decision's but I guess since we dont have "players without defects" They have to stay in the game.

Marvin should have been in for Childress when CHI started going on that run but we won so it really doesn't matter.

My biggest problem with Smith now(I thought his D and effort were there tonight) is that he never passes the ball anymore after getting a rebound(and this almost cost us in the 4th qtr). Who told him that he was allowed to play point forward on this team? Can our next coach please tell him to stop the Antoine Walker/Lamar Odom impersonations next year?
