Game Thread: Charlotte Bobcats @ Seattle Supersonics

Post#1 » by Det the Threat » Fri Mar 28, 2008 3:21 pm

The Sonics had a chance to make it two wins in a row, but they blew a huge lead late in the game and lost their 55th game of the season. Today they're playing the Charlotte Bobcats, who thought that they would challenge for a playoff spot in the eastern conference, when they traded for Jason Richardson during last years nba draft.

The Sonics will be without Robert Swift and Mikael Gelabale. They also lost Chris Wilcox for the rest of the season.

So here's to PJ:
Free Mo Sene!!!

Questions:
Can we keep Okafor and Wallace off the boards?
Will Durant be able to keep up his solid shot selection against Wallace?
Can Watson keep up with Felton?

I look at those team leader stats and am just amazed that it looks like no player will end the season with 10 Rbs/gm, nor 1 Block, nor 1 steal. This team needs to add some defensive players big time.

On that note, I hope we've seen Wilcox play his last game with this team. The last two years, his rebounding has declined and his turnovers have slowly raised from his first season here. Every preseason, he talks about becomming a shot blocker but has only managed to raise his average .1 per season to a whopping .6/gm career high average. See ya, Chris.

Can we send Sene back to Idaho? He doesnt need to be up here sitting on the bench when he would be getting a bunch of minutes down there.
