Should be a good game, though

Yeah... and more

not so much of a good game generally after the 1st half, though

Impressive by the Celtics

Lakers lose to the Bobcats! Too bad the Cavs couldn't hold off the Hornets, though.

Another little nugget to add to that loss for the Lake Show is Kobe has 15 techies now with the ejection in the 4th... any more during the reg. season and there are suspensions.

Can Kobe keep his cool, or will it not even matter and the refs will let off more than they have (even with the 15 techs)?

still we need a loss sometime b4 the playoffs, just to bring us back to reality and build up from that certain loss imo....

Ummm, I think this recent 4 game losing streak and drop down to 6th place in the West was enough of a wake up call in itself, no?

I don't think we need a loss..we've been winning, but we definitely haven't played great..far from it..we still have a big weakness, which is the inability to step on the gas pedal and gets timely stops/baskets..

the team starts losing their brain when we have a lead..

the Clippers game..we were up 10 at one point with Tim Duncan dominating, but the rest of the team went a long stretch without looking for him..bad shots, and then Thornton, Mobley and Maggette got hot, which gave them the lead..

last night's game..we were up 20, then Tim Duncan takes 3 mid-range jumpers(almost in a row), against a team that has NO inside defensive presence whatsoever..gets him out of rhythm, ends up getting a technical foul..Manu jacks up a bad 3, and Damon Stoudamire tries to single-handedly take down the Spurs..just like that, Minnesota is back in the game..

the D needs to get stops when we have leads, and the offense simply needs to take BETTER shots when there is a lead..that should be Duncan time where we slow the tempo down, AND DUNCAN NEEDS TO TAKE BETTER SHOTS..

I was looking at his shot chart since the losing streak earlier in the month, and it's mind-boggling why he keeps taking jumpers..he's the best post player in the NBA, and he's had a lot of success this month when he's took his game within 10 feet..most of his misses have come from outside of that range, where he's been taking a lot of those shots..hopefully he plays the usual Duncan game in the playoffs..

Big game tomorrow for the Lakers against the Wizards... that can really go either way. But, I think the Wiz have the edge coming in.

Where are you guys getting your information on Laker players supposedly being out ? Odom hasn't been out, he was sick on Friday but he played tonight.

Anyway our bigs are coming back (Pau on Wed. and Drew next Sunday)just in time for the top teams. Though in reality it's going to take Drew some games to find a rhythm.

miller31time posted it in the game thread earlier today:

miller31time wrote:Word on the street is that Lamar Odom is also out for tonights Lakers/Wizards game.

Los Angeles will be sporting the following lineup....

Fisher
Bryant
Walton
Radmanovic
Turiaf

Obviously he got that from somewhere, and that location was wrong.
