I can't believe a bigger deal isn't being made of what the Knicks did last week. They played back to back games against the two teams they are in a dead heat with for lottery position (T-Wolves & Griz). For those two games only, they sat Randolph for the sole reason of taking a look at some young guys. One was Morris who was 2-15 shooting for a two game total of 6/6/1. Does anyone here think its pure coincidence they do this against the two teams they are competing against for draft position? To me this was just blatant tanking.

Hi, Knicks fan here. Knicks need that pick more than any other team in the league, our only hope of a future star is this pick and Wilson Chandler, all we have right now are good role-players. but hey if you guys are complaining we are tanking we will gladly give you the pick for Yi

Also a case could be made that our young talent destroyed everyone elses young talent so they are worth developing. Collins, Chandler, Balkman, Morris were part of our summer league teams that went a combined 12-1 the last two years. and all those kids + Mayo/Bayless? should play this summer and probably go undefeated again, hopefully Wilson gets MVP this year.

I'd say 60% of the fans would do that deal in a heartbeat. I don't think I would for a non top 2 pick.

No complaining. Just pointing out the obvious and wondering why this isn't being talked about. Depends on the # pick for Yi. Top 3 or maybe 4 and I'd say sold.

ok about 10 games left and you guys have 3 more wins then the Clippers and 3 less wins then the Bobcats, looks like you are pretty much guaranteed 7th worst record no matter what. So My question is it really necessary to lose in the upcoming Knicks game? I mean c'mon do you see how often the Knicks get made fun of on Sportscenter, just let us have this one loss puh-lease!

No can do. You'll get a heavy dose of Awvee Storey, Royal Ivey, Michael Ruffin, Jake Voskhul and the rest of the can't do a thang gang.

Bobcats won again tonight, I'm ready to call 7 as the lowest we'll fall pre-lottery. Clippers are winning tonight, so they'd only be 2 games behind us in the W column, but their final stretch is just brutal with matchups against those west teams vying for a playoff spot.
Praise be our 43 combinations, and its 4.3% chance.

I didn't think we would be this terrible! I thought we would be fringe playoff, and I was thinking more like the 10th-14th pick if we didn't make the playoffs.
It has been a terribly rough season, but a top 5 pick would be really nice.
If the new GM has enough power, he could work some magic and go into next season with good role players, Bogut, and a top 5 overall pick.
Hopefully we get a guy that can work our rebuild correctly. Hopefully Herb realizes we need to rebuild immediately.
