He won't average 13 Mio. a year. I have good faith in Ed that he does not overpay Iguodala. If he could pin it down to around 11 Mio/year much like the first proposed contract extension, Ed has done his homework.

I have no problem overpaying franchise-type players though. They are hard to come by since they are pretty hard to obtain. Heck, if we want to acquire any other Iguodala-type of player, we would have to pay even more. I am just troubled with the idea that we get once again into cap hell if we sign Iguodala for more than what he deserves. We have already a few guys that earn more than enough.

Overall, Sammy has not played that bad today. He battled for rebounds and was alright in the defense. I think his mental mistakes are way more disturbing and you have to ask yourself whether you win anything with a big who has not the smarts. Maybe a big man like Brand would make wonders for him. Who knows.

Iggy was just terrible. It is not like his shot was not falling. He really had difficulties to create his own shot.

I'm use to seeing the so called "go to" player on teams have hot streaks where they string together better games than what we have been witnessing from Iggy. He was as quite as a church mouse in that first half when they really needed some scoring. It was obvious that the Suns coaching staff did their homework this time around...Now could you imagine what it would feel like to have watched this game knowing that Iggy is making $13 million dollars AND Dalembert as well? That's $26 million dollars for what? Stockton and Malone never made that much...

i wish i was the Sixers owner so i could pay Iggy even $20 million a year so you could not sleep at night knowing that Iggy is spending his money somewhere while you are dying inside every game

What a clown. This is where you just lose all credibility.

Iguodala has been huge during the Sixers recent surge, he has one subpar game where shots weren't falling, and you come out with something like this. His jumpers weren't airballs, most were front rim/back rim or rimmed out...tough night. Iverson had a 5/27 shooting night in the 2001 playoff run...should everyone have given up on him then?? The entire team had a horrible night...that happens.

As for the money...do you know he's getting $13 million? If he's not getting resigned, then what should they do? Given their draft position, the available FAs, and whatever trade chips they have, what is your grand rebuilding plan for this franchise...lay out something semi-intelligent and realistic...please??

Lastly, spell 2nd grade words correctly. He was as 'quiet' as a church mouse...not quite. An appropriate usage would be, you are 'quite' annoying, or that was 'quite' a bad performance last night.

As far as those who think anyone was blaming Sam for the loss...no, this is a tough matchup for anyone inside. The silly plays are killers though. As was mentioned before, going over LW's back for a rebound, lazy outlet passes that get stolen, the pass from Iguodala right at the basket that he bobbled and lost when they were about 12 pts down...those drive you nuts. Twice this week, he failed to keep his pivot foot and was forced intoa backcourt TO...last night on a forced pass, and earlier against Boston when he walked. Last night's game wasn't solely on Sam's shoulders, but it does scream out for the need of adding more quality big men to the roster. Sam is still playing well this season...add another big man next to him who is a 10+/10+/2block type player, push Reggie to the bench, and it would make a big difference in games like this. Their FA and draft this offseason should both go for big men.

The Suns came in well prepared. It was obvious that Iggy entered the game with the same game plan that he had for himself the last time that he went up against the Suns, but the Suns were ready for it. Too bad Iggy doesn't have what it takes to adjust on the fly...

You can pretty much pick any of the starters to harp on based on last nights performance. I guess it just depends who you want to make your whipping boy.

I'm more concerned about whether we can keep this hot streak going heading into the playoffs, and what moves we will make in the next year to reshuffle 2/5ths of our starting lineup.

You are right about the starters playing terribly, BUT since when did Iggy just become "another one of the guys?" Isn't he supposed to be held to a higher standard than Reggie Evans and Willie Green? I mean this is the same guy that turned down a $11.5 million dollar per year contract you know...

So let me get this straight because Iggy wants to get paid like most second tier stars ( Joe Johnson, and Ect), he can never have a bad game?.............I Guess Lebron is overpayed then, I mean he had that one bad game a few games ago......not worth his contract. and that Wade guy? pSSH, not worth the paper his checks are printed on.....I mean he's having a horrible season.

so from now on guys, if a player has one bad game........cut his ass.

Can we make that Sendems Avitar without him knowing?
Andre Miller is a bad 3pt shooter.
