What is Ellis thinking, trying to steal a rebound off a more bigger teammate. He probably wants to pad his stats to make him look better, trying to steal off Pietrus. Plus, shouldn't he be leaking out for the fast break, why is he trying to rebound anyways, everybody knows if Pietrus is on the floor, his high flying athleticism will get the rebound. Ellis needs to stop trying to think hes a good rebounder than Pietrus.
Thoughts?

Pietrus haters trying to hate again.

Excuse me Mickael, but this site is for Warrior fans and since you're on your way out at seasons end I'd appreciate you sticking to the overall team concept around here.

Stop using your groin as a means for pissing off the locals around here.

Lace em up and be a man. Baron's been hurt all year and he's out there playing.

No wonder Boom doesn't like you. Hell Tony parker wishes you'd change nationalities so that they wouldn't have to cut you every time team France gets going.

Have fun in Miami next year and please post on the Heat board from now on.

lol, Monta is a great rebounder for his size, if he was in the area of the ball, he needs to go for the rebound, there are atleast 2-3 other people who are probably leaking out for the fast break...

This post is definitly started in the wrong direction

There's no need to pad Monta's stats...if anything Pietrus needs to be begging Monta to let him pad his stats some for his contract....gimp ass mp2

Petrus is the worst teammate we've had here since Spreewell went bad . . . except without all the talent and stuff.

if you photoshop some opponents in that picture, you'd be thrilled that monta was in there to help... unless you think he'd just muck it up & knock the ball outta mp's hands?

No, Monta should be leaking out for the fast break. Nobody finishes a break on our team like Monta. If anything, Baron or Jackson can rebound instead of Ellis.

Oh, I wasn't talking about that picture. I was talking about the 45 games I watched him loaf it this season.

Snatchstrus going home? I though his national team told him not to apply last summer?

disagree...Baron and Jack were probably running the break already, so Monta went in to grab the board.
Lets Go Baron Davis...i dont care what jersey you put on. Lets go.
Big Smooth is focused and ready to handle the centers of the league.
Curry and Ellis will be a top 5 back court this season. 6/25/2010

Hey Ninkcompoop, if you look carefully at the picture, it's clear that Ellis is backing Pietrus up. It's not certain that Clouseau's outstretched trainwreck arm would be able to reach it (at least from Monta's perspective) so he stayed behind just in case it "richocheted" off (which balls have a tendency to do when near Mickey Pete. "Backing up" your teammate is something quite common in the game of basketball (especially on the defensive end). You want to make sure you get the rebound before you take off for the fastbreak (something most Warriors have a tendency to do too often in hopes of cherry picking). You misread the picture I'm afraid. The only guys who take Petey's rebounds from him are guys like D Howard and Milicic but they usually break his ugly nose when they do it (each time making it even uglier). He's no longer French sexy anymore. I like you AI but you need to stop baiting guys on here if you want them to respect you. It's about a team, and not about just one player (although you are entitled to have your favorite). Pietrus is just a guy that a lot of people like to make fun of, for obvious reasons.

when your best rebounder only plays 1/2 a game on average & your frontline generally plays no one taller than 6'9" - yet you still have the highest scoring team in the league, i think i'd want every damn player responsible for grabbing rebounds in their vicinity. the fact that the warriors get more than 4 rebounds per game from their wing players is a HUGE reason why this is a playoff caliber gimmicky team.

what if that ball were 3 inches beyond mp's reach & the opponent got an offensive board? would you be pissed that monta wasn't there to help secure that rebound? c'mon now.
