POG Mavs @ Oaktown Barons 3/30/2008

You know the drill:

Player of the game

Must be the following:

    a Mav
    a player
and must play in this particular game
That is all...
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...

Denver defeats GSW tonight. The latter should be hungry visiting the Mavs.

Assume Baron Davis should be defended by Jason Kidd. Who's going to cover Monta Ellis and Stephen Jackson? I'd put Josh Howard on Ellis and Antoine Wright on Stephen Jackson.

This leaves Jerry Stackhouse on Al Harrington and Erick Dampier on Andrei Biedrins.

Hustle, carelessness with the ball, tempo, and free throw opportunities would dictate the outcomes of the game.

The Mavs is now one game ahead of Denver (they would tie it if they win one more game) and a game and a half ahead of Golden State. The Mavs would face Golden State twice in a week. Enjoy the game.

We shouldnt even have a player of the game for this game because its going to drop us down to 8th place more than likely. Welcome to 0-10. :(

1. On National TV
2. Warriors lost last game
3. Mavs short handed

= Not a good feeling for Mav Fans.

1) On National TV
2) Dallas lost last game
3) Warrios don't know how to defend Dallas + Kidd - Dirk (no more Don Nelson cheating & law suits)
4) Warrios on back to back night
5) Dallas leads series 2-0 (meaning the Warrios are teh suck!).

= Not a good feeling for Warrio fans.

Dallas is a half game in front of the Nuggets and only 1 game in front of the Warrios. If the Warrios win tomorrow, there will be a 3 way tie btwn us.

this is the type of game brandon bass should dominate he can take any of there players to the hole by overpowering them or if biedrins is on him he can stroke that sweet jumper, unfortunately he hasnt responded at all since dirks injury. but id give him the start against a team like GS

I want to say Bass or Kidd, but anybody not choosing Josh Howard needs to have their head examined.

Josh!! (I rag on him a lot, but he has stepped up, the big question is if he can play like this with Dirk...if he can, we have some hope!)

id like to call for an end the POG thread made before the game, its bad luck (even if we did win, they were crappy teams) and id like them to be made only in wins

I agree. We should not give merit to meaningless efforts. If we don't win, it's pointless. It's like making a Most Outstanding Player thread instead of a Most Valuble Player thread.
