I think its more reasonable to trade Mo/Gadz/CV for Marvin/Claxton/Pachiulla as I stated in the other thread.
It seems a lot to give up at first, but we probably won't want to pay CV anyway, and we can get rid of Mo and draft a PG. Claxton and Pachiulla have a couple years left, but aren't huge contracts and could possibly be moved in other deals (w/ Redd).
I think Atlanta could use more depth in the backcourt, and would have 4 solid players with Bibby, Law, Williams and Johnson. Mo is good insurance in case they want to let Bibby walk next year, and they could even deal him as an expiring pick for more talent.
I would take out either Claxton or Pachiulla if it is possible to extend Marvin Williams contract and then do the trade, but I don't think this is possible. Ideally the Bucks could get Marvin and an mid-level expiring from Atlanta for Mo/CV/(Gadz), but Atlanta doesn't have much in terms of expiring deals.

I think they revel in this, actually

Doesn't matter. They're not trading Yi for a solid but not spectacular young SF who's going to need an extension at the same time Bogut does.
I think Drew's deal is pretty fair, but since the Hawks acquired Bibby I don't see them being very interested in Mo at the moment. Bibby's going to be expiring next year and he's grossly overpaid anyway, but I'd guess they wouldn't be looking to get Mo anyway.

I really don't think that Mo or CV should be traded, they are on the upswing of their careers. Yi for Marvin are an equal swap. Pachulia would get rid of Gadz horrible contract. We finally get a good SF and we get rid of Yi who is a possible cancer.

Like I told all of you at the begining of the year, if the plan was to win now in a GM's lame duck year Harris' gets what he got by drafting Yi in the first place.adamcz wrote:-= original quote snipped =-

I told you all we should have taken the Philadelphia Sixers offer of 3 good players for him which could have been Thaddeus Young and Rodney Carney and perhaps Willie Green.
Look at the Sixers now...Mo Cheeks has turned that team around! Told you all we should not have drafted another guy focused on his National team rather then improving for the NBA and our Bucks!
We went through that snuff with Bogut! We should have traded him for those two picks and a player the desperate Billy King was offering for him.
Thaddeus Young will be a monster and we could have perhaps got him and Stuckey or Sean Williams with our picks...and started Villanueva and been done with it!!!
Like I preached, once we could not get Horford of Jeff Green we should have traded the pick and not taken a guy who did not want to come here I dont care who he was!
Next time hopefully you all will listen to me. I hate being 'right'...all the time with this horrible season.

Go read my past post if you think I am boasting...I am not!

Funny isnt it....how all of a sudden we all want to pilfer players from the Hawks to get well?
LOL...if that is not a role reversal in fortunes for both franchises. Now we wish we were them and had their players!
LOL....
I told you this would come.
You said no to Boozer, no to Ford and Porter, no to Billups, no to trading this or that draft pick, you said no to Nene, no to Artest, no to Randolph, not to Kenyon Martin no to this one and that one and a host of others...
Now look at us!
Whose to blame? I blame many of you and and the shortsightedness of our Owner and GM!

not really。we don't think so. we know yi has lots of faults and he needs to improve no matter which team he will stay, the main problem is that we just have to doubt whether yi is fit for the Bucks or not. yi is a team-player, but it seems that the Bucks can't do the team work well. so maybe trading yi is a good idea.
JUST DO IT!
