Do you want Rick Sund to be our new GM?

Post#1 » by paulpressey25 » Sun Mar 30, 2008 9:45 pm

Something tells me that Rick Sund might be a headfake move so that when the real guy is named (who will be a no-name that will report to Kohl and Walter) we'll be "happy" with that guy simply because we dodged the "Sund bullet".

That said, my guess is many of you would not want Rick Sund.

Please let your feelings pro or con be known in this thread and this poll.

Let's get the message out to the Kohl.

If anyone votes yes for this, then I will question your Bucks allegiance.

If you need to be sold, please look up Sund's draft history.

This would be an absolute nightmare. To me Sund does not represent what Kohl had said he was looking for from a new GM. Kohl and Sund have history so its not an "outsider coming in with a new perspective." For once Kohl and company needs to get their damn act staright. You will not fool Bucks fans into thinking this is a good hire and we will make sure of it.

We need a stickied thread like this for a few days so Kohl can understand that the anger of bag night still runs strong.....that wasn't all done so that Rick Sund could be brought in to work under Ron Walter.

I'm guessing the "No, Kohl still doesn't get it" will win big, but let's see what happens.

No, or as they say in Mexico, no.

Thats what I don't get. Normally when you hire someone you look at their resume and past accomplishments to evaluate whether you think they will make a good hire for you and help you and the company become more successful. Sund's Record is pretty public and I don't honestly get why anyone would hire the guy ever again based on past performance. Honestly Kohl owns the Bucks and has much more vested interest than anyone so why on earth would he hold the course and continue his meddling ways as the past has shown that to be an ineffective method of running the franchise? If he honestly does this, he is obviously unable to take himself and his lawyer buddies out of the equation and make logical decisions which makes me wonder if he has just gotten to old and senile to be in charge of anything anymore. It's scary to think that Kohl is one of our congressmen when you think about it. Thank god an individual congressman doesn't have that much power by himself.

Isn't there a way to get a judge to force Kohl into a mental care facility if he is proven so incompetent that he cannot manage normal life and is a danger to society? He is obviously a danger to Bucks fans and he does the exact opposite of what he should be doing with the Bucks. I have to think he does the exact opposite in other normal life situations. At this point I would not be surprised if he wipes his teeth and brushes his ass.

On a bright note...the Clippers won last night...

On a dark note...Sund will get the job and become a part of the darkest regime in Bucks history...

We have to take a realistic view of the situation...Nobody in their right mind would take this job...that has legitimate credentials...

Kohl will meddle until the day he dies...If at all possible...he will continue to meddle from beyond the grave...

Well it's a close vote so far...

I can't imagine Kohl being able to sell Sund although if the local media hacks spin it, most fans will just accept it.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I would take the Sports Guy (Simmons) over Sund...no joke. With Sund we will stink. The Sports Guy might not end up doing any better but I feel following the Bucks would be a whole lot more entertaining. I'd love to listen to his weekly chat and answer questions from the fans. Then if Kohl fired him he could spill the beans because he doesn't have to worry about burning bridges in an attempt to get another GM job. I mean what

I hope we dodge the "Sund bullet."

What do we know guys?

It's not like we follow this team religiously, and spend hours upon hours discussing what is best for this team. Kohl had plenty of experience running an NBA team before he bought the team, and that it proves that you need that to be successful.

Wow....in two hours we are at 38-0 against Sund.

And if some guy in the Bucks office sees the results and says "Well, that was some kid pushing "no" 50 times", we'd remind him that RealGM is a pretty closed board system. You've got to be a member here to vote and it isn't like you can sign up multiple names in an hour. It takes a few days to get a screen name approved. This is far more official than any MJS poll.

Start sending faxes to the Bucks office saying "No Sund for GM".
