MELO4MVP wrote:You just posted a bunch of bs. Funny thing is the idiot claimed to hurt his finger at the beginning of the game yet he still kept shooting.

Well lets forget about it. Its just another game where the cold guy (A.I.) outshoots the hot guy (Carmelo)

The cold guy is always gonna be the guy who took more shots but didn't make them. There are night where AI limits his shots and no one mentions this. This night he was certainly struggling to find his shot and got a bit selfish trying to correct it - grabbing rebounds on top of that and getting a high number of assists is not something any guy in the league can do any given night if they f*** up from the field.

Even if you just want to say he was the sixth man, or even the seventh, he contributed. Some guys in that situation wouldn't even contribute.

hey guys, good game. Kmart played exceptional and it was a scrappy game all night from both teams.

You know, i like AI, i can tell he's a sharp guy and i like the way he carries himself, humble, respectful. But i really can't stand Kmart, the dude poses way too much after his dunks and swings his arms like he wants to punch someone out.

Good post again. AI tried to correct it because like most games and especially against the Warriors, he probably thought the team would need him to get going at some point. It's just his mindset I guess. Luckily the Nuggets didn't need it and he did other things. Maybe Karl told him to keep shooting, who the **** knows.

Thanks man. Yeah, and Karl could have said it, and even Melo could have said it - and it's right that the team might have needed him at some point to score. When they see he's not hitting, they all step up their games. Not because "AI is a leader" but because AI is on the team, and the team mate is not doing so well and needs guys' support.

He seems that way at first, but he is a little different than before. Coming back from that micro-fracture surgery and being able to leap like he is, dude's just happy.

That was a great win for the Nuggets team lastnight. The real "hot hand" was Kenyon, he played a great game lastnight. Melo was hot in the first half, but cooled off in the second. The Warriors commentators said that they made some defensive adjustments on Melo, and it showed. But this time Melo was smart enough to make his own adjustments, not force things, passed the ball to hit the open man...he should be commended for that, he played a good game as well.

As far as the whole Iverson thing, he had the most assists on the entire team lastnight, so it wasn't as if he was "freezing people out". I will say that he didn't have any business shooting the ball 20 times if his shot wasn't falling. But, as mentioned, he got involved in other aspects of the game. He knew enough to draw in the defense and hit the "hot hand" Kenyon for that go ahead jumper towards the end of the fourth to put them up for good, which to me was probably the most important shot of the game. Up untill lastnight, the guy has been playing great b-ball with a broken finger (he could just be like other NBA players and sit out injured) and people are still complaining, geez, give it a rest. They won the game, that should be all that matters.

i dont really buy that, you don't pose out of celebration. You pump your fist, bounce up and down like Najera afer he hit that three. I think its just who he is as a person. If AI where in Kenyon's shoes, or situation, i dont think he'd pose post-dunks.

It's just from observation. Who knows what's really going on in anyone's head, - but what I see is the pose/celebration from the Kenyon of old coming back to life in a man who has begun to change / at least with the appreciation for life/movement/basketball.

When you can back it up it's not bragging. If you don't like it stop him from dunking on you.
