If we're going to trade Redd for a defender, we might as well go for Kirilenko, who is younger, versatile, and not totally inept on the offensive end.

Well, they've talked about moving Kirilenko for a while. Redd would be lethal in that offense with solid post guys and a point guard like Williams creating for him. However, the primary reason Utah has discussed moving Kirilenko is money related, and Redd has a virtually identical contract.
