I don't understand why you hate Yi so much. I am not a fan of Yi but I guess each thier own. I am however a Bucks fan who does see some good qulaites Yi does bring. I still say give the guy time not everyone comes into the NBA and dominates. Could Yi dominate a good chance that he can. He still has a chance to be an all-star or a bust. I have read your posts prior on how much you dislike Yi. It is to early for him to make a judegment.
Give Yi two years and we will know if he will be a bust, all-star player, or a bench player. Also of course Wang Zhi Zhi was going to be better he played in the NBA prior and is older and has been around compared to Yi.

He won't be a bust. He's in one of the worst basketball environments in the league right now. Incompetence accross the board...ownership, coaching, teammates.
Yi will be a nice complementary player when a real coach teaches him toughness and forces him to become a man on the court. Physical maturity will go a long way towards helping Yi reach his potential. A point man like Paul would also make Yi a lot better than what he is now.
Everyone save Bogut and Yi should go. In a perfect world, that would include Herb and the croonies as well.
That sounds like a description of Dan Gadzuric, outside of the ability to make free throws. Now I understand why you like Yi.

Of course you wouldn't do that trade. And thats not a compliment to your intelligence.
BTW, if Yi can still put up decent numbers (14/8 last night, I believe) then what happens to the excuses about him not being able to produce due to the "rookie wall", being stifled by a bad offensive system, culture shock, or whatever you guys were saying over the past 40 games in which he was horrible? Do those excuses only apply when he has a bad game/bad stretch or should we take them to be true?

The only thing we can take to be true is that you're a petty dumbass that ejaculates with glee if Yi has a bad game.
You really should seek help about your obsession. That's far more important than me addressing your arguments.

The guy is tired from wear and tear, he's battling through some nagging injuries and yes has probably hit the rookie wall. After his time off I would have hoped to see a bit of rejuvenation and last night was a hint of that, but nothing to get excited over.
Is your mind so simple that it can only comprehend on and off, light and dark? You see the issues around this team are simply not a good environment for any young player, heck really any player at all. We have a bad coach, a poor system, our best players are selfish and our chemistry both on and off the court sucks. This does not mean that any given player cannot have a statistically good night, it just means that as a whole the team and most of its players will not. Let alone our role players who are most often overlooked by the offense.
Yi has certainly not played well and if you take some sort of joy in that good for you and begone. I am sure you have plenty of people on your board that you can celebrate with. For me, I still have hope that he improves as a player and does well.

a full offseason without basketball will do a ton of wonders for Yi. unfortunately he has the Olympics in store for him this coming offseason. The guy definitely has potential and it's too early for you guys to quit on him. There are more bad factors on him this season (culture shock, exhaustion, injuries, bad coaching,super-selfish teammates) than good ones. the last thing he needs is home fans animosity. you should support your guy. me, i'm not a Bucks fan nor Chinese, but I see tremendous potential in this guy and aint quitting.

You're an idiot, that has been proven repeatedly on this board. Nothing you say regarding Yi has any relevance.

Y does everyone hates Yi
Here is the main reason:
He is Chinese, lets face it, China is vilified in every news story from their products to their politics. In America everyone associated being Chinese is negative. I remember same **** has been said about Yao when he first came, but Yao was older. Question of Age would not be a matter if Yi is born as Smith and is a black American. Honestly, knowing his family personally, Yi is really 20. If the US is as villified in other nations, my bet is that Oden and LBJ's will be questioned as if the NBA is a chinese program and all the best players are none black and none american.
Example of Biased Western Media and anti Chinese propaganda is everywhere. The reason is that the US needs an enemy to justify is large military industrial complex at the same time they fear the challenge that China will give them eventually if the country rise up to be a possible superpower.

All this Yi and Yao hate is all based on the education and propaganda feeded to all americans. Watching CNN or Fox news, the hate permeates. It is so Orwellian, remember the 2 minute hate.
--------------------------------------
As for BBall terms, Yi is in all possible way on the worst team to develop a big guy. I believe if Bogut, Villanueva and Yi are on other teams, they will do better. The Management (having a Babcock brother related to the worst gm in nba history, says it all about the management), the ownership, coaching and team chemistry stinks in this team.
During the draft I reeked at hearing Milwaukee called out Yi, I know if he goes there, he'd Milicic part 2.
I really hope Milwaukee, now that everyone here hates him, trades him. He nearly went to New York in the Zach Randolph deal, because of how close it was, I believe this off season he is going be traded for sure. Kohl wants him out anyway as well.
A Brendan Wright or another first round pick from another team would fetch Yi. I believe if Yi gets traded, most Milwaukee fans will eventually say doh.

What Yi hate? People here are disappointed with his play thus far, as they would have been if Yi was American. But if you had actually read this thread, you'd have seen that many fans are willing to wait another year or two to judge him.
And Yao hate? Does he really get more hate than other players?

He was never part of the Randolph deal. Kohl wants him out? I believe your pulling that information from a place with no sunshine.
