come on lakers fans
charlotte and memphis at HOME???? and you almost let it happen again tonight?
i know half the team is injured, but there still is no excuse
Tell me again why the Hornets couldn't make the playoffs last year with essentially the same roster.......
I'm so tired of the typical......

hard: @ ORL, GS, UTA, @ LAL, @ DAL
win all five easy and three of the hard ones and that oughta be good enough to clinch #1 IMO
i would put @ Sac as being hard. That game might be harder for NO than vs. GS and vs. Utah. Sac is better at home than Gs and Utah are on the road.....throw in the fact that its a back to back makes it even harder.

FWIW, the Hornets are something like 12-3 in the second of B2B games.
@Sac will definitely be tough though, regardless.

This coming from a guys who's main argument for kobe winning mvp is injuries.
What did we finish? 2 games behind the Lakers?
I didn't say injuries weren't a legitimate excuse. I don't remember saying injuries are Kobe's main reason for being MVP. I think people dismiss 28ppg, 6 and 5 and act like anyone can do that.....

Whoever gets the most wins. The postseason will filter out the real men from the boys and all these season games wont mean sh**. Matchups will be what decides who goes the furthest in the WEST.
I also may add that we will be adding the rest of our roster and despite stupid losses to MEM and CHA we will be a team that will cause matchup problems for most teams and we play well on the road.
I see SA pulling out the top spot again this year unless our chemistry clicks quickly integrating bynum and pau in the next few games.
The league has never seen kobe this quiet down the strech and I have a feeling these injury layovers could be a smokescreen to have our team healthier than most think we will be.

I can't believe I'm saying this about a Suns fan post....but I agree.
