"I don't feel I have to prove anything to my doubters. I feel I need to prove it to myself," J. O'Neal said,"that I can get back and dominate once again. At 29, I'm not ready to give that up."

As two NBA basketball referees walked through the countryside, they noticed some tracks. First said, 'Deer tracks?' Second said 'No, bear tracks.' However, the conversation ended abruptly when a train hit them

i'll never give up lamar and bynum. i'll give up one, but not both. i'd trade bynum because lamar helps the lakers win now. bynum is several years away.

pacer fan: HA! its not either or, its both. not only that, but you also need to take on troy murphy and throw in picks. odom/bynum/kwame/2 firsts for JO/murphy sounds fair.

Was it That Nicka that constantly wanted to trade Bynum and Odom for JO?

Cant remember exactly who it was....

i believe it was. though i think his constant argument was with people that wouldn't even give up odom for him. with JO's health this season and Odom's surprising durability looks like he was wrong about that too.

You never know about these injuries when a player desperately wants out of a team. Wasn't Gasol supposedly out for the season with a strained hip until he got traded to us?

To be fair though, the trade I was pushing for was Odom, Kwame and Farmar or 1st for JO... UNTIL, Kobe demanded a trade...

At which point I was willing to give up Odom and Bynum for JO

Others said they wouldnt do it because JO was too injury prone, and quite frankly, they were right

yeah my bad, Gasol did play a bunch of games before that. May be I should have used a better comparision, like the other O'neal. :D
