ummm, the macbook has the same power and processing that the imac has...

seriously, after having my black macbook, i will probably never buy a desktop again...unless i need an 8-core for some serious rendering or something...

i just disagree heavily...the current macbook and macbook pro's are very very powerful...

I'm about 6'2 and built like a football player though so I guess that offsets that little problem.

I want to get a mackbook pro too, its just seriously that damn good. I worked on one of those while doing some audio mixing and video editing for a student association on campus.

I've bought a Dell Inspiron a couple of months ago so I cannot switch so soon.

How do you react? All I could do was chuckle and say "I hope it was good heh.."

Rating - 7.43, so she's pretty good considering the average is like 3.1 at where I work. How would you guys react?

probably need to know more about what kind of working situation you have with her, implications of a hookup there, and her singleness or lack there of. It's obviously a powerful thing when you've invaded a subconscious though. Remember people can't help attraction, no set of ideals or conscious discernment beats a deep down attraction.

to follow if it's not encouraged at work and you like your job... just be flattered. Also, don't worry about age as long as you are legal.

Miles' advice is good when in a car alone or something for sure.

Sick. I guess it's impossible not to pull mad chicks as a musician with a pimp ride like that.

You know I don't think the car has every been used properly like that. The otherthing is I, like many musicians, was unlucky with women for a long time. As you get music going well that does lead to women, then you realize something:

it's not the music after a while because you can get girls without that context being around. it ends up a mix of these things:

a-self appreciation or comfort(if you are skinny as hell or whatever, don't sit there wishing you were a body builder. Think of guys built like you who do well with women. If you are comfortable in your skin that is sexy in a world of body image issues.)

b- ease around women. when you get comfortable with women you can get away with being way over the top, or do it subtle, but nervousness alerts them to any of a number of problems you might have. Mostly it's probably lack of exposure to women or confidence, but in their mind it's "he's a stalker or somthing"

c- after getting used to having women around-you don't need any one to be around, so a take it or leave it approach makes them want to prove something. EE is most likely the master of getting a hot girl to try to prove you want her by challenging her and undervaluing her looks. (When I say undervaluing- I mean appropriately, because looks fade, as much as they are important to you libido they really don't count for much vs a bear or tank for instance)

Dreams can mean so many things in this situation... off the top of my head.

1. she saw you once or twice, you're in her head, she had a dream, innocent
2. she's messing with you
3. she likes you
4. she's a pycho

I agree with j-far, Iceburg... stories with pics. in this thread are legendary.

Honestly I've dreamed about girls at my school, work, etc. But only because I liked them and thought they were girlfriend material. I don't just randomly dream about every girl I see, there has to be some kind of attachment.

She likes you. It takes a lot for most women to volunteer to put themselves in such a vulnerable situation with a co-worker.

1) You should have said, "I want to hear all about that dream, maybe over a beer?", with a ferocious grin. "When works for you?"

2) Disregard 1). You don't $hit where you eat. Work associates are therefore always off limits (unless they're serious wife material).

1+2 = "If you didn't work here, I'd ask you out right now. Were you naked?"

Working out and eating healthy can be an addiction. I know this because my cousin is that way and annoys the hell out of me with that crap sometimes.

I'm a smoker again, but not really addicted. I think I'll quit at the start of April.

I say that all the time with the coffee shop girls.

I more or less shaved my head the other day. 3 mm buzz cut. Still getting used to not sporting the mad scientist look. I think I'm starting to like it.

Ouch. I broke my wrist twice as a soccer player. It hurts like hell and it sucks in so many other ways. The good part is that you'll probably be back at 100% within a month or two.

A full crack or smaller fractures?

Welcome. I havent had a "hair cut" in 5 years. I always shave the dome and usually use a 2/3 -- but in the summer I take it all off.

It makes life eaiser for me... and I will prolly shave my head forever.

There's a couple fractures, I'm going to have a metal thing going straight into my bones disgusting. I'll be able to look down into my bone.

BTW I cut my hair alot. Buzz it, grow it out, whatever. I'm going with the Mohawk and a fuzz beard right now.

Thanks for the welcome. I think I'm going to let the goatie grow longer now, so I don't lose that edge altogether. It may also be time to bring back out some of my thick rocknroll chains. I love how easy it is to shower

You'll be back before you know it. Plus, you can now pull a Spinal Tap in the customs without the mess of a pickle and aluminum foil. Seriously though, you'll be back soon. Just make sure your doctor has his head screwed on straight
