ot: wide basketball shoes, anyone else have this problem?

Post#1 » by jerrod » Tue Apr 1, 2008 7:26 pm

so i have really wide feet, 12.5 4e is the best size but the only basketball shoes i can find in wide sizes are new balance and they just don't feel as good or as durable as nikes and reeboks i've had. i used to just get the smallest size of those that were wide enough (15) but that wasn't working all that well either.

i've looked everywhere. anyone have any suggestions? is it possible that nike/reebok/adidas/and1 etc just don't make any wide basketball shoes?

I've had this same problem for years!!! The answer?

Converse

The old Converse Weapons series were really wide. I'm not sure if they still make them. I bought 3 or 4 pairs a couple of years ago. Also the D.Wade's are pretty wide.

Nike, And1, etc. used to KILL me. Converse is the way to go.

Ha, I have problems getting bigger sized shoes since I wear 15. I get my shoes on Eastbay or through footlocker or something so maybe look there.

eastbay's great if you just have big feet, they always have 15 and up left over really cheaply

i can't believe nike doesn't make wide basketball shoes
