Ellis, by a pretty reasonable margin, more explosive in terms of going to the basket and the far better mid-range game.

Ellis in a landslide.

Barbosa shoots the 3 way better and he's comparably fast end to end but he's also as dumb as a brick and Ellis is very much not; Monta has pretty solid decision-making skils, can effectively dribble-penetrate consistently without posting lots of turnovers and is otherwise a very capable and dangerous weapon as a consistent scoring option.

Barbosa is a really athletic Brazilian brickhead with a great set shot (even if it's fugly).

This is not even close. Ellis has developed into one of the most efficient scorers in the league where as it seems that Barbosa regressed from last year.

Ellis has a lot of potential STILL, and yes he's better right now than Barbosa. I don't think Barbosa is the right person to compare Monta with.

Monta for me.

First off, both are quick.

Barbosa's a great shooter with more range, but Monta is younger, has the tools to play the point, and has his own ways of scoring.

Monta right now by a fairly wide margin.

Monta has a much better midrange game, is a better finisher around the basket, and has the skills to handle the point.

^ And to add to that, Monta's a superior leaper than Barbosa is, and is a better defender and rebounder.
