The United States has never lost a war in which mules were used.

How is that related to this thread?

Exactly.

LarBrd22's just trying to bait people, and that opinion's based on the other times he's gone that route.

Oh, I'll answer Urban Zealot's question. Basically it was a list of people with ties to Oklahoma (e.g. Mookie Blaylock). Which, if it weren't trolling, would simply be a ridiculously stupid comment. "Oh yeah, Dana Barros was a popular player at Boston College back in the day, so he should be the next Celtics coach! - not that I have any idea where he is these days, whether he has any coaching experience, or whether he even wants to coach."

LarBrd33 is one of those bottom-of-the-food-chain types who gets his rocks off by reading a computer screen and seeing people get pissed off at him. It's the lowest form of life on the Internet. If this were prison, he'd be the child molester. I don't understand the type at all.

I just got an e-mail today mentioning "Your suspension has been lifted from RealGM". I post so infrequently on this site that I didn't even realize I had been suspended in the first place. So I looked back on my previous post and saw this thread and all of you guys bashing me.

The thread was asking who should be the next Sonics coach. I was just thinking about it logically. Locals get hired for those kind of jobs all the time. To address the person's example above me. Actually, Dana Barros has been a Celtics assistant coach a couple different times and it has a lot to do with his ties to the community dating back to his Boston College days... kinda odd example you came up with there? Mo Cheeks was brought to Philly cuz he has ties in Philly... To stick with your Boston example... when the Celtics hired current assistant Tom Thibodeau, all the papers mentioned how he was a native of New Britain, Connecticut. Again sticking with the Celtics example... Larry Bird coached the Pacers and now runs their organization mainly because he's an Indiana hero who went to school there. Again sticking with the Celtics example... the fact Kevin McHale grew up in Minnesota is about the only reason he's the GM of the Timberwolves. Michael Jordan runs the Bobcats, because of his school ties to North Carolina... I could go on and on. I just was listing some examples of potential coaches who have ties to Oklahoma City. Clifford Ray and Mookie Blaylock were my suggestions. When moving to a new city like that it probably helps to have a face to the organization who has ties to the local city... it helps bring in fans within the community.

If you disagree with me, I understand. There may be other more qualified people than the two I thought of off the top of my head. Wasn't trying to cause any trouble though. Just my guess. How about Eddie Sutton? He's beloved there and has a wealth of knowledge to teach the young kids while the team rebuilds.

LOL... you know what's funny, maybe I am lost or just plain dumb, but I am still curious as to why people are getting that emotional over some internet stranger? Mind you, I am not trying to come to defense of anyone, I just don't see what the guy is saying that is really all that big a deal? Even if he technically was trying to "bait" us, do we have to allow ourselves to be baited?

I mean seriously though, somoene please clue me in, are you guys getting that emotional over this guys words? If so, I'll admit even I as a Seattle fan find it a bit humorous...

Yall need to calm down and let go. Stop being so defensive about this Seattle situation. At some point this forum will be filled with Oklahoma residents... you gonna bash them as much as you are bashing me? I'm just thinking long term. If it's true that the Sonics are on the move then my guesses are pretty reasonable. I wasn't trying to cause trouble "troll" or "bait". Just joining the discussion.

You do know not one person believes that, right? Stop posting here.
