why even give snake attention? dudes obviously acting foolish, Nene doesnt have heart LMAO! dude was in chemo what 2 months ago and now is on the court
when comparing talent though, it doesnt come close Powe doesnt touch Nene's skills... If only Nene can stay healthy for a full 82 game season

If he played with heart, he would have played in the second half. If he played with heart, he wouldn't show up out of shape in every beginning of season. If he played with heart, he wouldn't average 6 career rpg for a guy with his size and talent playing with intimidation.
The guy average almost a DD in limited time when he doesnt play along Marcus Camby? Thanks God he
I love players like Kobe Bryant, Vince Carter, Carmelo Anthony and Tracy McGrady. Why? Just because I love basketball. Even if you don't have one in your team, you should love them, too.

Who is the 10 and 9 guy? It certainly isn't Powe, not yet anyways, maybe someday, but today isn't someday. It is funny how you picked PJ for your example considering the celtics recently signed him, and he is probably going to take Powe's minutes away from him once the playoffs begin.
Powe is the first guy off the bench for us everynight. He just gets a little better all the time. The dude was 3" taller we would have a pernial all star. His hands are like Kmarts. he can catch anything thrown close to waist high. He is one of those guys if he was on your team like Najera, you would love him.

So having cancer is nothing compared to kidney failure?

Snake.. you cant be serious dude....
I am a cancer survivor, I had testiclular cancer several years ago. Had a testicle removed and underwent one chemo treatment......sound familiar? I never in my wildest dreams expected Nene to come back this year. The pain he has and is dealing with is hard to imagine. You ever play sports? Got kicked or hit in your balls? Imagine that pain all day long for several weeks.... Thats how it feels after your surgery.... Now the chemo.... imagine the flu for a month...... It was hard for me to bend over, touch my toes for 2 months... I couldnt jump up and down for several months without some pain....
Dont frickin talk about heart, the fact he is attempting to play is a testament to the mans heart....
so please quit speaking of things you have no earthly idea about......

First guy off the bench now maybe, but he has only played in 40 something games, so what are you saying the Celtics didn't use the bench in 25-30 games? Powe is a nice talent and is developing a nice little game, but to compare him to Nene and then say he is better then Nene is absurd. I would like to see Powe play 1 on 1 defense against Shaq the way Nene can. It isn't going to happen.

Why would you pick a talented player who isn't keen on becoming a better player... poses after every "did you see now what I can do?" dunk... misses games, is tough to provoke fights but isn't tough enough to play a second half of an important game, isn't a smart player.
Powe is a hard worker and a dirty player. He's tough in a sense he doesn't back down to anything. He plays defense, takes charge and you know he's going to be there every night. With Nene, maybe it's very good night, but maybe 10 and 4, and maybe he's hurting and cannot play.
Powe plays with heart... I really want to see someone saying Nene plays with heart.
I'm sorry, but I have to stick up for Nene here. The track record is not the shiniest, but we're talking about talent and just getting the guy out on the court so he can actually play and show us what he's made of.
I don't know where he will go or what recovery track he will be on, but burning in your gut is no time to be playing basketball extended minutes. It's not a dull ache hurt, it's a "whoa sh**" hurt and the guy is just listening to his pain at the moment.
Give the dude a break. How his recovery and frequent injury relates to the team's success if definitely up for discussion, but the actual recovery.....c'mon have a little more class than that.

It was Powe who made Shaq have the meltdown this year in BOS. He lost it at the end of the game. Powe actually ripped the ball out of his hands at one point for a rebound. When do you ever see that? I'm not saying he is as good as NENE because no one knows how good NENE is. The guy has missed substantial time the last 2 years. It's not his fault. But it is, what it is as Belichek would say.
Leons hands are made with stick'em on them. Last night was the first time I saw him mishandle a pass that he should have caught. Dude just gives you all he has and gets a little better every game. What more can ask for?
