Deron Williams with 212 assists in March

I bet if Kobe bryant recorded over 10 assists in a game, people on here would go crazy, there would be coverage on ESPN for about a week.

Just thought I'd point out that in March Deron Williams had the highest monthly assist total since January 1992. You won't read or hear about it anywhere else.

LOL, Nash had 211 assists this December, on 15 games. Pathetic stat.

im sorry to all the chris paul fans who want ALL the media pointing to them. Deron cant get some love, when he won the skills challenge, paul fans said it didnt matter if was just the skills game. when deron out plays pauls in games paul fan resort to the entire season and whos played better. I dont think any jazz fan has taken away the fact chris paul IS playing MVP caliber and SHOULD be the MVP IMO but sometimes he is overhyped, ESPN went APE **** when he had 199 assist then they found out wiliams got more and completly ignored it. O well, i only hope this fire dwill more, when he didnt make all star team he started playing the way he is now. With april coming in i hope deron puts up MVP numbers and gets us through the playoffs

You act like you're above the Deron/Paul arguments, but you're the one who comes in here and initiates it, when a Jazz fan just wanted to point out that Deron accomplished something that no one is talking about. ESPN had a story up about how close Paul came to a 200 assist month -- ending with 199 -- and how only Nash had achieved that mark in the last 10 years, when Deron did it IN THE SAME MONTH.

And yet you have to come in here and try to stir up the **** that you complain is so tired and trivial. Come on...

Paul is a great player, and it can easily and credibly be argued that he's better than Deron. So what? What the **** does that have to do with the fact that a Jazz fan wanted to point out an accomplishment that has been buried in favor of more Paul praise by the national media?

Christ, man, we get it. You think Paul is better and you think Jazz fans are homers. Fine. That's cool. But don't go around acting like you're RealGM's elder statesman when you get down in the mud as much as anyone, and have done it in this very thread.
