probably, but arguable. jamison has always been a player who has fluctuating stock/value. hes never been as good as he could be or consistently at his best, and hes never been as bad as he sometimes seems, but certainly has been an underperformer for stretches.
as for former tar heels, ill always take him over carter. effort over soft-as-pudding

I found this to be the most interesting comment:
"If you could have any additional kind of analytical or statistical computer program to help you, one that is not currently available, what would it do? What is your ideal, dream basketball software?
Dr. Phil Maymin / Greenwich, CT
WG: Phil, we have a "skunk works" of advanced statisticians and computer people who basically work 24/7. They focus both on game preparation, offensively and defensively, and on the draft. They are doing some analytical things that we don't even talk about. Let's put it this way, our coaches and scouts can't think of a question that our statisticians can't answer. I had better leave it at that..."
...and people accused these owners of being indifferent or even dumb, or of being under the mystical spell of the Jungian "brain doctor." Instead this ownership group is committed, extremely smart and innovative.

Jamison already has made a max contract in his career-but I doubt he turns down another huge deal to come here. He'll be 32 in June, so if he wants to take a paycut to come play here, great, if not, that's expected and no hard feelings.
