Poor effort from SJax and Monta last night. But they are probably smart to just throw the game and saved energy for tonight's showdown against Mavs. They weren't likely to beat Spurs anyway even if they tried hard.
Well, that's my excuse.

I think it was more like this. Poor effort from SJax and a very bad game for Tay.
This was a dumb game to throw away. We were down by 2 freakin points late in the 3rd and had a shot to win this one. We didn't play with no kind of energy, played no D and we were still there to get the win. Nellie screwed this one up big time and I hope we don't lose today's game against Dallas. BD, Tay and SJAX plays the whole game today so that means we have about 10-20 minutes of relaxing on the court by BD and SJAX. Hope it doesn't hurt his cause we really need to win this game.

WTF?
It's a downside of Nellieball. (You are shocked - SHOCKED - to hear there is a downside!) Mavs were league low in assists per bucket when Nellie was there, too.
He sacrifices ball movement to work his fav mismatch.
Or maybe our team just can't execute, since there is no reason why you can't use the mismatch to generate an assist for another player. Although god knows where the mismatch is when Cro is your center, Kelenna the PF, and Baron the SF.
