IMO there is no untradebale player in the NBA. Maybe LeBron, but depending on the offer, even he could be moved (obvioulsy it's not likely, but huge names in the NBA have been traded before so you can't say it's impossible).

Wait... now you've lost me. If this is case then why did you omit names like LaMarcus Aldridge, Amare Stoudemire, and Carlos Boozer????

Because, again...in my first post I said it was a no brainer that if names like that were available everyone here would want them. This was about trying to determine out of the more realistic trade tagets who the fans would want. I'm sure Amare, Bosh, Boozer, etc. would probably be at the top of everyone here's list (at least the majority) based on talent, age, etc. I don't need a thread to detemine that.

Also, the objective of this is to get down to 4 names, not 1. What I was trying to detemine is which FA/RFA/Opt-out player the fans would want the most. If we instead went the trade path, what 2 veteran type players would be the best targets and which younger player would be the target. I wasn't planning on matching these 4 names vs. eachother.

I also think players like Sheed, Odom, Kirilenko, Harrington, etc. are realistically mush more attainable via trade (considering what we have to deal and those players current teams) than guys like Amare, Dirk, Duncan, KG, Bosh, Aldridge, Boozer, etc. It's conceivable to think with Sheed getting up there in age the Pistons could be persuaded to deal him for younger talent/picks/whatever.

Overall, I just felt this would be a waste of time if I included the big names in the pool. At least this way the winners MIGHT be players who are realistic targets. From many previous threads it's obvious that not everyone is a Brand supporter....same with guys like Okafor, Smith and Marion....I don't think there is a 100% majority feeling on how well these guys would fit into our current team situation.

In related to news to this, apparently Mitch Kupchak doesn't seem all that sold on keeping Odom. If the Lakers are bounced in the first or second round of the playoffs I would expect the Lakers to try and make a trade this off-season with Odom as the bait.
