Name one draft player that will shock everyone.

It's a given that there will be one or two players that get picked late in the first, or in the second that will completely exceed expectations and years later we'll all be scratching our heads on how he got picked so late. So who do you pick?

I'll take Richard Hendrix.

Joe Alexander probably won't get picked until after the lotto, but he's going to be one of the best players out of this draft.

I've seen some mocks dropping Courtney Lee to the 2nd round. That's crazy, anyone who gets him that low should be ecstatic.

I am having trouble picking just one. My safer pick would be Joey Dorsey. Now I am not saying he will be an all star by any means, but I think he will be a starter on a good team. Kind of like a better, stronger, taller, Reggie Evans.

My "out there" pick that will take some time is Serge Ibaka. The 6-10 monster from the Congo. It's not all about height, it's about length as well. This guy is a Loooong 6-10. He is super athletic and is a very unpolished product. Reportedly had a higher vertical than anyone in the 07' draft...a 6'10" guy with the highest vert? He needs to be scouted more and coached even more, but he has the most potential at the bottom of the first.

I'll end up going with my safe pick. Ibake is a long ways away, but you never know with someone like him. I've never seen him play outside of youtube. So I'll go Dorsey.

Given how so many of us jumped on the Jordan bandwagon last month, I would say he has to perform to meet our expectations.

It will be interesting to see what pick he takes to say the least.

After watching DeAndre Jordan play this year... I would advise him to stay at school. He has a terrible BBall IQ. His offensive game stinks. yes, he is a super athletic big man, but he needs a ton of polish to turn him into the player we all think he can be. Another 2-3 years of school is what I would suggest.

I think DJ White will be a very nice NBA player, especially with where he is projected to go in the draft.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

The real question is, would it shock you if she were drafted by the Shock?

Bump!

Man, I knew my pick was a shot in the dark, but I don't think Richard Hendrix lasted one season. lol.

The Ibaka picks look to be pretty solid now. Danilo was picked too high to be considered a "shock."

The Joe Alexander pick was so brutal for the Bucks.
