defense is so bad, can't believe they actually get stops now and then. Props to Frank for benching Harris when he was playing out of control. Too bad Nets can't get a win on a night Boki can actually shoot. I hate looking forward to lottery but Nets don't deserve playoffs either.

Just kidding since quite a few players on the team project to be around for the long run I'd rather they don't develop a loser's mentality and try to win as many games as they can.

Durn... Game wasn't showing on my cable, and stupid YES replayed Yankees game instead of showing it after Yanks game. Oh well, I'll PVR it on YES schedule repeat at 9AM.

It's just not the same when I already know the crap result.

tank tank tank tank tank.

There is no way we're catching Atlanta. They've been on a hot streak, and I doubt they'll cool off with less than 10 or so games left.

get the best pick possible!

There's no need to tank our shedule is hard enough just make sure players don't develop any kind of losing mentality . Thatswhy : play hard and then life with the results.

LoL why ? do you know if we win a couple of games it can mean the difference of a couple of draft positions. Which is a lot in this draft. It could mean the difference between drafting a player we want/need or best player available.

Losing the rest of the games aren't going to affect this teams morale especially since they know that they're going to miss the playoffs anyways.

Just let the young guys play and get some more experience.

if we tank our games and some of the other teams in the league couple of below us gets 3-4 wins, we could be drafting as low as 8 (possibly lower but I highly doubt it)

I rather be drafting at 8 and be drafting at 10 or higher by winning the rest of the meaningless games this season.

well have u looked at our schedule? If not then here it is
@ DET
TOR
@CLE
@TOR
@MIL
CHA
@BOS

Realistically, you're looking at 1 win (@ MIL) and that's even on the road and who knows what they can do if Redd or someone gets hot.

Because it's not about the draft pick all alone you have to teach your young players its NOT ok to lose so they don't even start to think about that.

For me thats way more important then 1-2 draft positions .

If the team just tanks and starts losing game after game it'll be worse for the team in the long run.

You don't want to create a losing environment. Look at the Knicks, look at Atlanta, look at Portland. The Knicks are stuck as a bottom of the league team and it took Portland and Atlanta YEARS to get rid of the negative mentality that had invaded their locker rooms. To some extend both teams are STILL working to rid themselves of their loser's mentality.
