Just because hes hurt and doesn't want to risk his career for a season that won't even win it all this season.

Do you want these kind of hustle plays gone when Pietrus signs with another team?

A guy who can finish plays with fashion- Dunking it down on their faces.

He is so athletic.

A guy that plays lock down D, steals the ball , and dunks it. Commentators call this heroic play by saying his nick name - Air France.
The crowd goes wild. Crowd chanting Air France! Air France! Air France!

A guy tough enough to take hard charges.

Would you want to lose Pietrus? He is a type of player that teams dream to have, dream to create. He plays with heart, and with courage. He hustles out there, and is an energy player.

You say he has a very low Basketball IQ. Well, let me tell you this, He has work his ass off in America to home entertain you. He steps out of bounds because his coach instruct him to play the wing which is very tight. Everybody makes mistakes, look at CJ Watson last night. Stepped out of bounds. Look at Monta now that he is starting to stay there for threes. He steps out of bounds when he drives too. Its normal because you need to push off to drive, and just because an inch of your toe touched out of bounds doesn't mean he has low BBIQ.
Its very sad that Warriors fan think he should be gone. Other teams would gladly take him off your hands.
He is here until the season ends if you like it or not. Start calling him Air France, instead of "French Trainwreck". I noticed on game threads, you bash Pietrus when he makes a little mistake that turned the ball over. Yet, when other Warriors turn the ball over, its barely noticed. Is it because you are mad that he is leaving to become an allstar somewhere else? Well, if so, I hope he goes to a contender next season, and becomes one hell of a player there.

Until then, back off Pietrus' ass and leave my hero alone.

Yes, you have captured our bitter disappointment in a nutshell (possibly literally). We are afraid that he is leaving to become an all-star elsewhere.

I was once a MP2 believer. At one point, I wanted the Warrior to start him over Jrich. But to be quite honest, he's nothing more than an average role player, who at times can give you a outburst.

My best friend's favorite Giants player was Pedro Feliz. Imagine what you heard in this thread being told to you in real life over and over. If Feliz was still a Giant this season I might have hung myself before it ended.

You don't like his gold glove caliber defense, 20+ home runs, and clutch hits with man aboard? He has cut down on his strike outs by a lot also. He sure is better than our starting third baseman, Jose Castillo... I'd take Feliz anyday over garbage.

I do like his defense. But I hate his horrendous OBP and OPS.

But he is better than Castillo. Castillo is just terrible.

I think the idea was not to tie any payroll to any dead weight. We're rebuilding for the future.

A good point. Feliz got bashed for not being a star...but now the Giant's only "Stars" are a pair of very young pitchers.

Pietrus wasn't the dude who played 30 min a couple nights ago in a VITAL game-and went 1-11. He wasn't the guy who went 1-9 either.

We NEED a bench..but we can't afford to fill the bench with semi-stars paid $6-10 mill,whether it's Pietrus,or Azu or Watson,or Barnes,we have got very good bang for the buck. NONE of them is paid what Jasekavicious made. None of them comes CLOSE to what NYK pays J James,Jeffries,Malik Rose.

Most teams have guys on the roster who are prima donnas,others who are slackers,others with no skills and yet others with no apparent talent. We actually are pretty lucky. Even if we don't use the roster or put guys in roles that put them at a disadvantage,we don't really have negatives or deadweight at this time

When you build a house...you don't keep stopping with the frame....tear that down and start over. At some point you Build. You don't just go partway,bail out,go back to start and repeat the cycle. We still need to follow through on the latest rebuilding project,for a change.

The idea was-I think-to not commit on the CHANCE a player might be worth X-dollars in a year or two. The W's had paid overly high based mostly on expectations-then felt compelled to dump all those same players (mostly our lotto picks)....because some fool overpaid them. Rather than adjust to something normal,the W's "Master Plan" took a hard U-Turn and now half the team could bolt.

It will be interesting.

Don't count on it looking like any sort of gain though. Deadweight? I think there is a rather big gap between,say Tim Duncan and some stiff. There is a LOT in between. The guys who start sometimes,who are rotation,can't be considered deadweight. Otherwise...what does that make guys who play far less,who hardly have a stat line?

I hate to say this, but our play has definitely gone down a notch since Pietrus douched his vagina too much, causing severe injury. I really think we miss his rebounding. He had been killing it on the boards before his injury, both offensively and defensively. When we're not shooting well and not getting boards, it will be a long day.

This is not because we're missing him but because Nellie refuses to make the (W)right substitutions (he did not start playing Wright until the end of the SA game nd likewise (until the game was already settled) in the Dallas game. Even when he does play Wrignt, when he puts Wright in, he takes out Biedrens, so effectively he's really substituting for the Center (not the Power Forward) which is where Pietrus was playing. Substituting Bukie for Pietrus is not the right answer (neither of them are the right answer) and neither is Cro who although can shoot, can no longer move or jump and hasn't even been shooting well lately. As I said, you'd almost think that Biedrens and Wright are alergic to each other. Somehow Nellie has made them to be mutually exclusive to one another.

He should start Beans and Wright (our future) the rest of the season and see how they do and I don't care who else. Maybe he would try that if he cared about our future, but he doesn't.
