Giricek, only because the Shaq deal was terrible, and is going to hurt the franchise in the future. Even this year, it is very questionable if they are actually better with Shaq than with Marion, and they are still absolutely not good enough to win a championship. The Suns are now stuck with arguably the worst contract in basketball ($20 mil/year for 3 seasons, on a player who is going to be not too good next year, and terrible the year after).
They should have just kept Marion, and if he opted out, pulled a sign and trade, or just asked him not to opt out with a promise that they would trade him asap.

Even if they ended up getting nothing for Marion, who cares, that's still way better than paying Shaq $20 mil/year till the end of 09/10.

Definitely Shaq. So what if the move hurts them in the long term. The Suns traded for the Diesel to improve their chances of winning a championship, and I believe they did. If they don't win one with him, that sucks, but they probably weren't going to win it with Marion, who was just going to leave anyway. I guess I'd have to reconsider if they go downhill as fast as the Heat did, but even after Shaq and Nash are done, they'll still have Amare, Barbosa and Diaw, so I don't see that happening.
Giricek actually was a pretty solid pickup, but we're comparing a decent scorer off the bench to a guy who could be what they've needed to win a championship all along.

Gordan is a streaky shooting scrub playing on a small contract. Shaq is a former force of nature who still commands attention from the opposing teams. Giri may stretch the defense out if he's hot but Shaqfu frees up Amare to throw down in the post everytime he's on the floor. If shaq gets them a ring it's all worth it.

Between Shaq, Marion, and Giricek, who is the guy you'd least want your team to go against in the playoffs?

Yeah..

Actually it should be a combination that teams would fear.

Who would teams rather face, Amare + Marion, or Amare + Shaq?
