A two team trade that worked for three teams
It is rare that a two team trade works out on both sides. In December the Jazz and 76ers made what is considered to be minor trade compared to other blockbuster trades this year. The Jazz traded malcontent Gordon Giricek and a future draft pick to the 76ers for sharpshooter Kyle Korver. Korver has provided the 3-point shooting the Jazz lacked and the Jazz record has been among the best since the trade. Giricek didn't work out for the 76ers who released him opening up opportunities for the young, talented players on the 76ers who have produced and the 76ers have exceeded expectations to become a solid playoff team. Giricek when released signed with the Suns and seem to have resurrected his career. His playing style seems to fit the Suns open system.
