The return of the superstars

Post#1 » by P2 » Thu Apr 3, 2008 12:28 pm

Really, was this arranged or something? Following players returned on the same night:

Elton Brand
Dirk Nowitzki (although he shouldn't)
Gilbert Arenas (although he didn't want to yet)
Paul Gasol (should be out longer)

And two nights before, Jermaine O'Neal returned. Coincidence, isn't it?

I was so happy when I saw Gilbert come out onto the court and check into the game. I didn't think anything could spoil it. Pure joy.

Then we lost to the Bucks on a buzzer-beater from Ramon Sessions.

And I was depressed.

haha Arenas is the only comeback that resulted in a loss. Maybe if he came in earlier and not try show off, it wouldnt have come down to a last shot.

It also doesn't help that both Antawn Jamison and DeShawn Stevenson went down with bad injuries on the last play of the game (with literally seconds left). They're probably out for a while.

Wizards are cursed.

Ramon Sessions

the thing I hate most when watching a game, is when scrubs start hurting my team..I don't know what I would have done if I was a Wiz fan..

Also Kasid Powell was release the same day as the other stars. As one great goes another one enters. Rumor has it that miami is talking Marty Conlon out of retirement.
