Curry's pretty bad. No doubt, he's a very effective scorer from the field, and can even be force-fed the ball to produce consistent offense. That is quite valuable.

But he contributes literally nothing else. He never blocks shots, he's consistently among the worst offensive and defensive rebounders, he's a total black hole, he turns the ball over like crazy, and has already been noted, he's possibly the worst defensive center in the league.

As a bonus, he's fat, has a heart condition, gets paid too much, AND is coming off of a bad season.

I would much, much rather have the #8 pick than Eddy Curry. That player will be younger, fitter, healthier, cheaper, and is a very solid bet to become a better overall player. JRich is of course a much better player, and Nazr's contract, as Hamilton has already noted, is really two years shorter because of the player options.

???

From everything I see, Nazr's contract is at least as long as Curry's, and would be longer if Curry decided not to exercise one of those player options.

And that's another reason I wasn't sure about Curry, since the main reason I would have been interested was if he could play PF. If he could only play center, then I definitely wouldn't want him because obviously I want Okafor playing center, and I don't want another situation where you have two bigs that can't play PF

Hamilton, sorry, I misunderstood what others were saying. Yes, assuming Curry picks up his options (which he will), their contracts are the same length.

You honostly can't say you'd rather have Curry than B. Miller.

Miller has shorter contract, knows how to win, better passer, better rebounder, better defender (wow Curry really is bad), smarter player.

His only weakness of athletism won't be a problem on your Bobcats (with your team of freak athletes), he can help distribute the ball since Felton is primarily a scoring PG. He can play both PF and C (could say played his best ball when playing PF next to divac)

Deal would be something along the lines of
Nazr, Pick, Filler
for
Miller, + probably Douby, (either lotto protected 09, or 2 08 2nd's)
