-Kidd Josh excellent
-Terry finally shows up, though I'm not going to get excited over this, he'll have 9 stinker games in a row (but I'll be happy to eat my words)
-Dirk, hopefully he'll get back to 100% soon.
-and FINALLY AVERY PLAYS DAMP! Did you guys notice we didn't get killed by offensive rebounds by the Warriors???
On the other side, I think ELLIS is a great player, he kills us this season and the guy can flat out shoot. Baron was somewhat contained for once.
I thought our fastbreak points in the first half were key, loved to see the team running and passing, with Kidd at his best (17 ast).
I notice that we are much better when we have someone who can man the paint. Damp is our only hope with that.
This team MUST address a backup center in the off season if not sooner.
GS made their little run in the first half when the lane was wide open every time they had the ball. They were also able to grab some offensive rebounds during that period.

I saw quite a bit of this game (not all of it), but this type of performance is what I had in mind when we brought Kidd in here. Huge assist numbers for Kidd (and the team), and guys who should hit shots (JET and Josh primarily) actually hitting shots consistently. Nobody had a clunker of a shooting night except Kidd, which is fine if you only take 6 shots...and it helps if you can rack up 17 assists too.
I didn't see who Kidd defended, but the last GSW game, I was impressed with his defense on both Baron and Ellis. The guy can still play some man defense, and of course I'm a huge fan of his team D.
Good win. Hopefully something we can build on.

Don't know how Kidd guarded either. Wasn't Baron Davis. Devon George and Eddie Jones did a good job on him most of the night.
Whomever guarded Harrington and Jackson did an impressive job. They went a combined 2-20.
Monte Ellis must've been guarded by Jason Terry. Why else would he have scored 27. Probably could've scored 37 if he'd gotten more shots.
The real test is Friday night.

they rotated on Baron between George, Jones and Howard. There were a scant few times that Kidd guarded him but it was mostly on switches.
Ellis was guarded by Terry and Kidd generally
Stephen Jackson got guarded by whoever wasn't guarding Baron, sometimes I recall seeing Kidd on him when he was on the floor with JET and Howard...

One thing I noticed about Kidd on Tay was that he was almost leaning backwards a bit...
Like whenever Tay put his shoulder down to begin a drive, Kidd was in position to just jump straight backwards... he did it once, and it froze Tay and he gave up the ball. I thought it was a brilliant move on Kidd's part...

Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but who is "Tay"?
EDIT: Monta is the only one with a "ta", so i assume you mean him?

Dirk's defense last night was pretty good considering. He was really getting after it on the defensive end. It's one thing to come back on short notice after an injury and score some, but to play defense the way he was last night afterwards was amazing.
If we could just close games with Luka, Kyrie, Green, Maxi, and Wood that'd be great...
