Does Hollinger only trashes the SUNS on a routine basis?

Hollinger used to take every chance he could to low-blow the Nets. Now he's practically sucking Devin's D though.

No, Hollinger's stats are innately biased towards your favorite team.

John Hollinger wrote:Although I am, in fact, horribly biased against your favorite team, their position in the rankings has nothing to do with this.

I'm a big fan of Hollinger and think he takes way more flack than he should, but he said that a fully healthy Wizards team would win 34 games.

Well, the Wizards, without Gilbert for 64 games, Butler for 20+ and Etan Thomas all season are 38-37.

Hollinger just hates Jason Kidd. He ranted about him in everyone of his articles for a few months.

I thought he makes fair statements on stats rankings generated based on past performances. They usually points out key areas for a successful or struggling team. However, I think anyone who pays attention to a team can tell that without look so deeply into stats. At the same time I find him using stats to predict the future of a team or player is always a stretch. It does get to me seeing people talk about his data as if they're "predictions" instead of "measurements".

hollinger is a tool

Jazz fans hate him for sure.

He sure does love Chris Paul though and he's come around the Hornets, so what can I say.

Hollinger refuses to accept that defense actually matters in the NBA.

Hollinger knows his stuff and writes his opinion. That is what he gets paid to do. Just because he doesn't like your team doesn't mean he's been "unfair." This is ridiculous.

Well, if he doesn't like the team to begin with, should he be writing opinion about them?

That's funny.

From today's article.
Key factoids you might not know: The Jazz may be the best team in the West, even with their deplorable road record, mediocre defense and questionable outside shooting. Utah is only sixth in terms of winning percentage, but is first in the West in scoring margin at 6.9 points per game, which is a better indicator of future success. Despite some horrid road losses, overall they've played very well of late, taking over the top spot in the league in offensive efficiency and moving up to No. 2 in the Hollinger Power Rankings.

He's actually been pimping the Jazz for most of the season, even during their ugly December stretch.

Man, what is he smoking? First he says they may be the "best team" in the west to then follow up by saying "deplorable road record, mediocre defense and questionable outside shooting."

There is nothing objective about these comments. If he can't be objective how can he be fair?

John Hollinger is terrible, i cant stand reading how he overrates and underrates every team in the NBA and his little stat system is just as bad as he is
