he could basically take the role antonio daniels has on that team.

We'd take him for his defense alone if he didn't have one of the worst contracts in the league. At least Ricky Davis only makes MLE.

Hughes was good for Washington, but once he went to Cleveland and they asked him to do something different the wheels fell off and the ride was over.

He just wasn't able to do the half court game Cleveland used and seems to not have recovered mentally.

The thing is Larry Hughes was never good. He had one good season at his contract year and it was enough to fool Danny Ferry. He's one of the worst signings and he's a reason why Cavs are not a championship caliber team. His contract doomed the team.(now we have to deal with Ben Wallace because of him) I wonder if LeBron ever thinked about killing him.

Wow, Larry Hughes decide to get up for a game against his old team. I would have never thought he would be that kind of player (rolls eyes). I can't wait till magically plays passable basketball when his contract year comes up.

He has athletic talent, but that doesn't mean he's good. The NBA is full of athletic guys, so what separates one from another is the mental aspect. Larry has a horrible shot selection and almost always fades (sideways) on his jump shots. It's the reason he has a horrible FG%.

You're right; if he passed on those pull-up jumpers in transition or the 20 ft. jumpers with a hand in his face then he could probably average 43% from the field with some decent D and be a serviceable player. However, what reason do we have to believe he'll ever do that? None.

His one-on-one D is great, but the second you throw a pick on him, he's worthless. He basically let's himself be picked out of the play and usually doesn't recover. From that point on, he's basically out of the defense until a shot is put up.

It's so sad that Bulls fans don't mind having him considering between him and Wallace, he's the lesser of two evils.

Hughes is not even that athletic. I was shocked as hell that he was able to complete that put back dunk last night, and then he dunked again later on.

That was more athleticism than he ever showed in Cleveland, which is pathetic.

I doubt he could even shoot 43% if he took better shots. 41% seems about all he's capable of to me.

Ben Wallace has now blown 4 wide open dunks as a Cav. That guy has lost so much athleticism its incredible. What's sad is that it's just gonna get worse.

At least when you watch Wallace you think to yourself "That guy used to be a monster, he's just getting older now".

When you watch Hughes, you think to yourself, "Shouldnt that guy be in the prime of his career, why the hell is he so horrible".

He's very athletic which is the saddening and stupid thing; he has it but he doesn't use it. He could get to the rim and dunk much more than he does, but he's content with taking bad 20 foot jump shots.

See above. If he was smarter in passing up on bad jump shots and focused first and foremost on driving, he could easily shoot 43% which isn't even that good. He won't ever do that though cause he's an idiot.

We thought he might be holding out on some limiting injury as well while in Chicago. There's no way a guy loses that much athleticism in only a couple years; not when he's conditioned as well as Wallace always is.

^ I take it you aren't enjoying his four on one fast break 15 foot leaning against his body jumpshots.

Funny thing is last night was the 1st time in a long time I've seen Hughes dunk let alone get a tip back monster dunk.

There's obviously something wrong with him, well mentally anyways. Players cant be so physically gifted and suck, oh wait they can.............

Hughes is just holding back so he has enough energy to lead the Bulls to the championship next year.

This guy just sucks. He was always the money guy. He doesn't care about the team or the teams success. He just wants money. I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't in the league after his contract finishes. Hes a garbage player.

I felt bad for LeBron, thought he had a good player to help out but he didn't. Just another low shooting chucker that can't do anything to help the team.

Who would enjoy it? :)

Let's not get too rambunctious. If Tim Thomas can get the MLE, Larry Hughes certainly can.
