PG= Sessions
SG= Redd
SF= Dez
PF= Yi
C= Bogut
Best "long term future lineup
PG= Sessions
SG= Redd
SF= Yi
PF= 08 1st rounder/traded guy
C= Bogut
My guess for the future:
PG= Sessions
SG= Redd
SF= Dez
PF= 08 1st rounder or traded guy
C= Bogut
6th= Yi (22-25 mins a game at the 4 and 3)
1st Guard off the bench Bell
Simmons
CV, Gadz and Mo get moved this offseason.

Yi is not a 3. People have been trying to put him there all year, but he's just not quick enough (he's quick in the open court, but not with quick hands and feet), not a good enough slasher and not a good enough passer. Imagine him guarding Granger, Caron Butler, Jefferson etc? He'd get burnt all night long.
For me working from the current roster (minus Mo who I'd be very surprised if he's still here) it's
Sessions
Redd
Bobby
CV
Bogut
I do however think we'll trade for a PG, hopefully someone like Miller -
Miller/Sessions/Bell
Redd/Bell/Ivey
Bobby/Des
CV/Yi/Ruffin
Bogut/Gadz/Ruffin
If I had to guess I would say Mo is the only major trade (with filler of some sort), we probably draft a SF (just a guess) and those other guys return.

I'm sold on Sessions/Yi/Bogut starting next season...
Then you can either try to win next year by keeping redd and using the rest of the assets to bring in a very good/athletic small forward, and a rugged backup 4/5.
Or you can rebuild around those three guys and add more young guys/draft picks around them.

I think Yi is quicker than Gasol and will defend better than Dirk,
he is to be more strong, improve his defence, and get more experience.

Both those things may well be true, but neither of those guys play the 3, which is what my post was about. Yi is not too slow to play the 4, but is too slow to play the 3 imo.
